I've had the same orange Surpass 60a fir 3 years and had it in a 4wd Mega Senton, Optima, 144001, 2wd Rustler XL5, Glamis Fear 1/8 2wd, BoLink Drag Rail, and a Gold Pan RC10. Its held up well, even on 3s with 3650-2p-3300kv KK BL motor. The fan still blows hard and ESC still pulls hard. I have since let it go to a friend and got the Surpass Version 2 KK 80 amp ESC, AKA Rocket-RC V2 80a ESC. This is the one with the "momentary" push button for on/off instead of the slide switch and it has the program button next to it. I also got the Version 2 Surpass LED programming card. One thing I noticed is that my trusty old 60a ESC had many more programming options, 17 to be exact. And seemed to be about the same in performance. I desperately want to say this new ESC is leaps and bounds better but if I want to be honest I'd say it's relatively the same. Thats not such a bad thing considering all the cars, BASHING, wear & tear, and number of battz I ran through the 60a and it just kept going, popping wheelies and sending rooster tails of dirt all over the lands surrounding me! I can say they all come from the same massive plant in Shenzhen China , manufactured by Shenzhen LTD, CO. All the Hobbywings, Surpass, HobbyStar, HobbyQueen, Gool, ZTW, Reactor, etc.... I have been to the plant. The difference is the quality of craftsmanship. The more experienced workers are allowed to solder higher quality, more expensive components and they also get a $0.05 discount government issued gas card and $1100 more per year! Awesome! The different brand names are not used in China as they are not a free market system. Brand names are used by China only when exporting. I find Surpass Rocket, or as it's now called ROCKET-RC, the best "budget" brand. But fir superior support HobbyWing is far better. If you require good customer service go with Hobbywing. If you require solid budget bashing running-gear go with Rocket-RC. ZTW sits king of the BIG ESC GAME with fair support , great quality (for the most part) and features on oar with HobbyWing as well including PC Link, Bluetooth and Telemetry. X-Team is a brand on par with Rocket imo, but most comparisons I have seen show Surpass Kk motors and Platinum motors beating Xteam at far less cost. I know not of Xteam ESCs though. Anyway, when you consider that a Tamiya TBLE-02S costs about the same as all these ESCs and then compare the features...and even bring the famous workhorse of a sensored 2POLE ESC like the Hobbywing 10BL120 and NEW equivalent Rocket-RC sensored 120a ESC that also cost the same as a TBLE-02S you have to wonder what Tamiya and Kyosho can ever do to come anywhere near these ESCs. I don't see it happening....ever.
I got it from the surpass hobby store on AliExpress. I have not had chance to test it yet.unfortunatley I've got too many projects all going on at the same time 😂😂😂 I have 5 different esc to test, and I'm still testing the first one!
I have the Surpass 80 in my HSP 94107 and I absolutely love it. I have it running an OCDay 3650 3900k motor. It really woke my buggy up. No complaints at all.
I have one, the same 80A version it seems pretty good for the money. One thing I will say though it only reccoginses 2-3S lipos even though it's says it's specs are 2-4S. This is a spec mistake. If you plug in 4S you will only get steering, no thottle. Other people with this ESC have also discovered this so it's not just my one.
@@druscanam ohhh .okay tq sir 👍 i have bought 120a surpass esc , it's really good for me .I'm try to put dual 3s 100c lipo on this esc without any issue .esc not overheat .120a surpass hobby esc,surpass hobby 3650 6900kv brushless and dual 3s lipo 100c .with this setup , i'm got 128km/h on wltoys 144001.its really hard to control 🤦

I just bought the KK 80A esc. Will let you know when I try it out on a 3s. Current set up is 45A on 3s, just asking for a burnout.
