2011 il njan avide poyappol this whole area was used for farming like sugarcane and some stuff like that. bro poya vazi puthiyathayi avar kettiyathanu. if you go through the old way the road will take you to a forest checkpost. From there, the place on the left side of the road is reserved forest and the place right to the road is the unreserved area which are owned by many local people of the place. so take a ride through that road and you will see the Reserved forest border markings there along the road. This place is along the borders but not inside the forest. You can see that there. FYI Forest department didnt failed any case, case is filed by some local people and forest department asked for explanations and it went to the higher court and court stated that they are not on forest land. thats what the court says.
