- B Minor Chord Guitar lesson No BARRE chord method. I show you the bar(barre) chord version and then a version with no bar at all! What's more I show you what I call "noodles" that will help to develop your index finger movement and make playing the bm and other barre chords easier. It's very pretty and quite moody and I think you'll dig it!

I think you just saved my sanity the bminor been driving me nuts. Just getting a smooth transition without deadening the strings. I seems like I have been trying for months. Thanks. Now back down into the mire. Will it ever sound smooth. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgh.

I learned this myself years and years ago.....try playing the full A "barre chord" shape of the cowboy G chord....just great to hear that definitive Yorkshire twang / dialect.

Chord first and barre second. I wish I had known to do that back when I started handling barres.
It isn't logical is it but there you go. Some things aren't in life lol. I realised it when I was looking at a hand surgery book. It changes everything once you understand how ligaments work. Which is useful for a stumpy fingered dude like me haha
