I love to shoot the basketball so the EVO NXT is my favorite ball to play with. The old evolution is highly overrated and outdated to me. I love how with the NXT i didn't really have to break it in. it was great fresh out the box. I have the older NXT model and have had it for almost a year now, it doesnt have that vibrant orange color anymore it's like a dirty bright orange color now and honestly the feel of the ball gets better the more you use it. I just bought the new Wilson NBA Ball yesterday, Wilson finally restocked lol I cant wait to try that ball out because I have never owned an NBA official game ball before.

After all the nxt is the hybrid between ncaa solution and the evolution. I mean don’t give me wrong, the nxt is a nice ball, just the light weight of it is the deal breaker for me. The nxt is the lightest ball I have and I got over 50 indoor basketballs. You probably like the Wilson nba ball because it also has lighter weight than the Spalding nba. Remember to give it sometime to break in, probably it will takes between 5-12 months depend on how often you played.

I agree solution is better. That 6g makes a big difference actually and the grip is much better with the solution because i think the moisture absorbing tech is better with it. Wilson increased their prices after signing with the NBA unfortunately. I have 2 of them, 1 is for outdoors and the solution handles dust surpringly well too. Evo nxt feels like a toy actually. I don't know how big, strong players gets used to it(the weight) as it feels like it would fly around :) you could get a solution nearly half price before :( ...
You are correct. Wilson did jacked up the price. But there are other reasons too, like supply chains issue and logistics issues. The big question is, will they lower the price when those issues solved?
For outdoor buy whichever cheaper one. Ncaa evo nxt is made for indoor unless you’re talking about the replica one. Even the replica you still pay extra money for ncaa and nba commissions fee. So for outdoor used you can buy basketball that doesn’t have ncaa or nba

With that being said, I love the Spalding official ball and the solution ball. Haven’t tried the Wilson NBA ball yet
Yeah i agreed with you. If the ball would weight 595 to 600 grams that would be perfect. The new Wilson nba ball is alright. The high price is a big turn off. Hopefully the ball get a lot nicer when it broken in. So we will see how it’s going to turn out in the future.

Check out Wilson website first before buying from Amazon. Usually on Amazon when items are low on supply those third party sellers jacked up the price. Or check out Eastbay too, most of the time it’s retail price sometime they even have sale.
My high school and all high schools in Ohio and Michigan use them, including me. It is kind of like an evolution but the Rawlings is better when it is sweaty. I would say it is a little less soft then the evolution but it is still soft

No. Just letters are random. But usually the first letter (in this case letter N) is just for Wilson to identify where the ball come from.
