@@Carlfishing had bivvy blow away on me before, 04.00 in the morning, trying to unpick my bivvy from a bramble bush in howling wind, rain in just my boxer shorts lol. I’m a bit ocd about pegging down now lol

Cool vlog carl nice one enjoyed it that brolly system looks solid bit of kit if got a 2 man and a 1 man bivvy but after chrimbo I want a brolly system that goes up quick how quick do you reckon it went up m8 ?🎣

Fished it for Tench a couple of weeks ago. Caught 7 tiny mirrors about 1/2 lb each. Good sign.

Most people do John and I’ve struggled due to work this year to get out.
nice one carl, i'm down there myself this week, usually I avoid using a spod but i'll be armed with one this time because you can't really do without one on there👍

hi mark i have been going up there and having some fantastic hits. i found the fish do react to a spomb going in and have been catching fish within 5 min of baiting also found the best area is where you did your long cast video
@@craftycarp411 I've been down there myself this week steve and I've found the same, they are coming to bait, best I've had this week was a 23.14 mirror about 4 hours ago👍🎣😁lol
Top vlog as always. I’m going to try one of them air bomb things, great way to trick the birds and get the bait where it needs to go. I mainly fish at linear where the birds are a nightmare. 👍🏻👍🏻

Have you worked out how short to cast the Airbomb from the spot when opening mid air?
Not really but I use it at about 60 yards which is just pass the catapult range.
It’s perfect for casting past and reeling back over the spot to drop the bait on the mark

Spod reel could do with a service.
Its the braid that makes it sound noisy as its not as smooth as mono..

It takes a while to get used to but once you’ve worked it out it’s not bad to be fair.
