Why was her foot on the counter top?
Can we put white vinegar?
How long does this last in the fridge?

How long will it last ? What would be the expiry date of cheese in this water?
Sorry for a looooooooooong delay, probably got your answer but I use it for 7-10 days, more salt, longer you can store it.
What was the foot doing on the counters around 0:30?!?!?
Why was her feet on the countertop? 😢

Can I use regular white vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar?
Thanks for watching! 🙏 ❤️ I have never done it but google says you can! maybe have some apple cider vinegar on the side, if it doesn't start to mass you can use it but should be fine. 😊 Let me know the result if you do use white vinegar!
Gureit viidioo!
Thank you 🙏
Is that your foot on the worktop? :D
What’s up with the foot on top of the ingredients in the beginning of the video? Trying to make the Feta extra cheesy?!
Hi There, because I had to adjust my camera higher so that my phone wouldn't heat up and die in the middle of my taping and I frequently had to climb the chair, put my foot on the counter for stability and check if my phone was still recording and somehow I forgot to cut that out! This was the third time taping the video due to phone heat up! I'm learning haha and thanks for watching
So nobody's gonna talk about the foot?
LOL, I had to adjust my camera higher so that my phone wouldn't heat up and die in the middle of my taping and I frequently had to climb the chair, put my foot on the counter for stability and check if my phone was still recording and somehow I forgot to cut that out! 😂
My first thought lol
Thank you so much. Best part is that the ingredients are readily available. 😋🤩
Your welcome, that's why I like this recipe, it's simple! :)
Was that a foot on the counter?😂😂
Thank you so much! The appearance of a child's foot at the 31st second of this video is a priceless touch! I love that there is a child being fed wholesome food in this household!

Um...ok.. you are obsessed with kids. We get it 😊
That’s an adult foot
0:30 why the foot on the kitchen table? I am struggling to know why

Absolutely stupid things to make cheese with vinegar, lemons and yogurt, where did you read that and how the test of vinegar and lemon got together.
Don’t try this at home people
You can make feta cheese with lemons and yogurt together but not vinegar. So you will decide vinegar or lemons never together.
Thank you for your comment. People have tried like myself and they have liked it.
Hi am from malaysia. I can't find feta cheese here so am grateful to find an easy and simple feta cheese from you. TQ.
Hi Yusof, I am glad to hear that! This recipe is from my home town, just letting you know may not be the authentic Feta cheese Recipe! I like to make my food simple and fast with what I have at home! I really like this kind of cheese, hope you enjoy it and feel free to share your result with me on my instagram page, IG: @hedyehskitchen Thank You
Okay so like why do I see a foot next to the lemon juice @0:31?

Great video! Fun, clean, and to the point 👍
Question can we use white Vinagre instead?
Also what can you do with the left over milk water?
Sorry for delay! Yes you can, and my mom cook rice with the left over milk water and said it's really good, I don't know how much truth is into that! :)
Mmm, I bet it would be good to make sweet rice for dessert. 🤗. Thanks for the good idea and the recipe!
Feta is the Greek Opium. As Greeks we can combine EVERYTHING with feta also NO cow milk ONLY goat milk (go full fat), nice and easy recipe
Thank you for your comment 🙏
Pls. I wish i had goat milk but if I inky have cow should I add cream or butter for more fat to make it tastier. I can't get raw milk easily in Canada or goats milk and the 'full fat' milk is only 3.75% fat.

Stick it in the washing machine at 1000rpm by itself..........and you will have dried cheese in minutes.
Lol thank you for your comment 🙏
Wtf "Iranian cuisine"?! The feta cheese is a signature traditional Greek cheese, with protected designation of origin!
I did not feel the need to Say Greek Feta Cheese because everyone knows that! Hopefully! And there is a word before Iranian Cuisine that says "Inspired". Meaning I was inspired by my culture making it this way at my home town in Iran and calling it Feta. 🙏
Have you ever added salt to the liquid on the stovetop to make the cheese more salty? Instead of adding it to the brine.
I was wondering about this too. One of the things I love about Feta is the saltiness. I am making this recipe right now too, and I just started the 6 hour wait to go into the brine.
Are we not gonna talk about the foot on the counter?
is not a feta ..
This recipe is not Feta cheese.Even it will be tasty ,but cant be called as Feta
Thank you for your comment 🙏 I may perhaps change the title, I know Feta originally comes from Greek but this is how they make it in my hometown in Iran, that is why I said inspired by Iranian cuisine!
Hi Hedyeh, Thank you so much for this recipe. I have been looking for a Iranian Feta recipe for quite a long time and I am glad you shared your video. I had to modify the quantity a little as I used 1800g of milk and 80 g of greek yogurt. Therefore I changed to 1/4 cup of cider vinegar and 1/2 lemon. it is resting now. I see you keep it after in the brine in the fridge. Do you think I could keep it in oil (half olive and half colza) ? with herbs ?
Hi Nathalie,
I'm glad to hear this 🙏 And I'm sorry but I'm not so familiar with the oil part but herbs definitely!
What the foot 0:30 😆

The is beautiful recipie of Indian Paneer...Feta is not made this way🙂
Thank you for you honest comment, this is how they made it in my home town! Gorgan, Iran
This cheese but not Fata cheese. Miss advertizing.
Hi There 👋 Thank you for your comment. It is definitely not an authentic Feta Cheese. This is how I learned to make Feta Cheese in Iran.
Apple cidet vinegar??? Yogurt? ....skip all that ,full fat milk ,white vinegar ,no lemon. In my country apple cider vinegar is 3 times more than cost of fetacheese, in fact ,the yogurt, apple cider vinegat and milk , cost can buy about 4-5 feta cheese
It may be nice white cheese, but it is NOT "Feta" cheese.
"Feta" is a very specific kind of cheese, it is made from sheep and goat milk, with special microorgamisms, and it needs a lot of time to cure after it is extracted from milk.
Yogurt is the key…i also use yogurt for my chicken kabob…actually it’s tavuk sis. I bring this to every BBQ i go to…always a great hit. But i dont give out my recipe secrets.🤫
Thanks for sharing that even though you will not share your secret recipe hehe!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Have you made it with sheep's milk before? This is the type my family likes for noon o paneer. Is there much of a difference in taste between cow's and sheep's milk?
My pleasure 😊 I have never made with Sheep's Milk, I would suggest googling a recipe for that but I believe It would be the same result! 🙏
Tofu / paneer has so many names, ugh. I m tired
Yes many different names. This is how I learned in Iran.
Such a versatile cheese. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will have to give it a go.
Thank you 🙏 Let me know how it goes 😃

Why is your bare foot on the table at 1.40 ?
LOL, because I had to adjust my camera higher so that my phone wouldn't heat up and die in the middle of my taping and I frequently had to clime the chair, put my foot on the counter for stability and check if my phone was still recording.

This is NOT feta cheese.
It is paneer.
Lovely cheese, but feta is made at low temperature, coagulated with rennet, not acid.
What's the difference between feta/ricotta and cottage cheese?

Cows Cheese = Panir = Gov

Ummm... there is very clearly someone's foot on the counter at 0:31 in this video... are we just not gonna talk about that? 😂
From Max Miller... the milk is ready at 185 degrees.. then remove from heat. And thank YOu VERY Much Ms Hedyeh... you rock !
Is that Fahrenheit or celcius
Thanks for watching! 🙏 ❤️
Thanks for watching! 🙏 ❤️ And sorry I don't remember what the temp was but just when you see some bubbles add the yogurt and as soon as the milk is about to rise, pour everything else and you should be fine 👌 If you're afraid the milk will rise and spill, as soon as it's rising turn it off, pour everything then immediately turn it back on and steer to center. 👍

Can I use white vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar??
I have read and heard, if you leave your feta in the whey and salt brine and keep it refrigerated it doesn't spoil for a year. Is this accurate?
Hmmmm Sorry I don't know the answer to that but after a while it smells bad!
If you salted in yogurt mix with water can stay 1 year without worry

Originally from the Republic of Adygea .
