For anyone wondering... Yes it was a painfully delightful experience to watch live. Getting way too excited about the most trivial bit of lootto losing it all to a loley Scav Having to choose what part of the "Good" kits to use or save. Meds, food, water, it all meant so much more. Gearless Gary is a great Protagonist in a truly great Tarkov story. Keep on keepin on SwampFox
I know it might sound weird but I really appreciate you putting captions in when you hear things (scavs, other players, etc) because I'm quite new to the game and the thing I struggle with most is noise and hearing people over my own movements. It makes it easier to pick out what I should be listening out for. Love this format for the video, keep up the awesome content, dude.
Now im a 26yr old dad of 2 i never get on yt just to chill and watch anymore but when i do, its to watch swampfox content.. keep it up mate, myself and many more will always be watching and supporting you 💙
Just finished watching it all. As far as suggestions/recommendations go,... I really like the Gearless Gary approach. Gives me something to root for. Keep up the great work you do. Your videos are the best Tarkov videos out there. I can say that, without a doubt... All the work you put into these videos is really paying off. 10 out of 10 as usual. No one makes videos like you and they are a refreshing change of pace from the usual stuff out there. Been a subscriber for years and it's been fun watching your channel grow.
Dude, you limping across the map reminded me of my most intense raid ever, limping my way from one side of Woods to the other. I had brought an Analgin, but it was out after the first few minutes, and I made it out with FOUR seconds left. It was glorious and intense, and I loved it.
As a new player (who attempted to play EFT years ago and quit shortly after buying), this video was actually super useful for learning what to look out for (playing wise, loot, kits, etc.). I've practically only been running Ground Zero since it's the map I know best next to maybe Customs which has been nice for me to learn the other things about the game while not stressing about what is where. The editing was absolutely amazing too! Loved the little details (especially the text on screen when you hear movement and such since it gives me a better idea of what to look for). Earned a sub! Keep up the awesome work!
I really like your documentary approach by narrating what your intentions/plans are. Like others have said, I also like the way you pop up relevant bits of information of the items you find/use, the *footsteps* etc. Makes for a very enjoyable watch. Cheers
I was watching this last night on the TV. My wife walks in and was like holy crap what is that noise! I said it was a blacked thorax and she’s like oh that makes sense if he has a deflated lung, but do you really have to deal with that for 30 min?!
I've started playing this wipe and these videos are super helpful for learning the maps and how recognisable areas connect. It's like a highlight reel of spawn and exfil locations
What a " _fun_ " little challenge. The editing is fantastic as usual and some Junker animations is always a plus. :) Watched this on my night shift and didn't even realize 2 hours had gone by so quickly. Longest one yet, correct? Great work Swamp!
If you’re still fielding suggestions for videos from us in the peanut gallery, I’ve got a few ideas that *might* catch your eye: -A SILVER TONGUE IS BETTER THAN LEAD: Instead of simply going full murderhobo, why not try a wipe where you negotiate with the first player you run into? Bluff, sweet talk, intimidate, as long as you’re using your words before your gun clears leather, you’re fulfilling this challenge. -IS IT HIGH NOON ALREADY?: Do a full pistol only wipe. No rifles, no shotguns, no SMGs; if you need two hands to hold it or operate it, you need to sell it. Become the pistolero you were always meant to be! -WEIRD PLACE FOR A HOLIDAY: No weapons, period; you don’t know a damn thing about how guns work and you’re not about to start learning now. You’re a tourist, dammit, not some badass PMC! The travel agency didn’t mention that you’d be left stranded in an active war zone! (Another “talk at your problems until they leave” sort of challenge; definitely something to consider if you’re itching for another gearless/RP run!) -CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE DOUBLE AUGHT KIND: All player kills *must* be with a shotgun; you can use your other guns to wound folks, but only your shotgun can finish them off. Should be fun watching you play a bit more aggressively. If you need more, beep me. In any case, I *love* watching your gearless runs; something about them is just so fun!
at 5:00 you're right next to the kick door room with weapons boxes and ammo boxes. at 5:30 there's another weapons box behind the forklift. there's also a flare spawn in dead body right next to the flare extract. it's absolutely worth checking if you think you might get camped at emercom or nakatani.

Love the editing as well, really good video all the way through with you explaining your load out and the goal going into the next run. Keep the length, or even make it longer. Love the videos! I can't get enough! These movies help get me through work! Have you thought about just uploading the vods of your streams when you are getting the content for them?
I think I've commented that already but; You can double click on your mags to check the weight instead of "inspecting" them. Helps me if I want to decide which to repack first or want to know if a mag has more or less than another one I already "inspected". It's a really small thing but a little QoL for me

Honestly love all of your videos! They are so well put together! The only thing and this is very minor thing I would change is being able to hear your keyboard while play! Thanks again for the great content! Keep it up!
Hey thanks! Yeah, totally valid. It's a tough balance using a sound gated condenser mic for high quality voice, vs also being a gamer with a mechanical keyboard. I have rubber rings under the keys which make them slightly quieter, but when I lower my sound gate further to dampen the keyboard, it cuts my voice out a little. I'll have to take another look at how I have my setup.

Man I love these videos even tho I have never played Escape from Tarkov for even a secong, you make the game look so fun cant wait to play it one day! ❤
Ive figured most important starter loadout barebones is pistol(1 mag make it count), heavy bleed med, painkiller and a backpack. get some light bleed med and a cheese if you want and put it in the backpack. same with heavy bleed med if you take an extra mag. Kill a scav, grab his gun and rig and there's your completed loadout.
Wooooow! A no hideout play thru. What a change of pace and dynamics! A treat to wake up on Friday morning with long form content into a long weekend! Love it, thanks for what you do - keep it up!!!❤🍻💪🏼🔥
Been watching from the sidelines since I started with tarkov for the first time this wipe. Your content gave me the fundamentals and I'm trying to reach the epsilon case one day lol. Hoping to see you live one day
This "beginner" map is horrendous. Forcing new players into a tiny map with way too many pmcs is not conducive to player retention. Every task area is hard camped as you see in this video. Seems like a major design flaw.
Loved this, the first few minutes when you were weaponless being chased by the scavs and hiding behind the car I was hoping you'd look left and see the stairs down to the room with crates 😂
Not sure if you'll see this comment lol, but I have a question, if anyone else knows feel free to answer, but why do you trade helmets/body armor with PMC/Scav's you kill even if that armor has slightly lower durability or even the same durability? In Chapter 10 around 1:45:00, you kill a PMC on the stairs of the Capital Insight Building, near the static Grenade launcher, your body armor is the same as his, but it has like 3 more points of durability, but you switched with the dead guy. Is it because the set of armor you came in with was insured? Are you just taking the gamble that hopefully no one with pick up the one you discarded and you'll end up with two? That's my guess at least, trying to see if there's a benefit I'm unaware of
I would like any sort of videos, even without editing, somehow your playstyle and voiceovers are amazing, every time I see you have a new video I stop watching streams/other vids and look tune yours in! :)
so, hot take: If you are someone who has never played EFT/SPT before, Zero to hero is probably the absolute best way to start. yes it is harder BUT chances are you have no idea what anything in your stash is or how to use it/prioritize it properly starting out and are likely to just lose it immediately in the confusion. This also does away with any sense of gear fear you have starting out as you wont be losing anything at all and instead stand only to gain from the start. This is what I did after starting up a profile. I saw all the goodies that came with my version and had no idea what to do with it, so i made a new one (spt) and went Zero to Hero with nothing but a knife. Im now level 9 (not a lot of time to play), have gotten a good grasp of ground zero/factory and wandered a bit in woods. Closing in on my first scav junkbox and feeling very comfortable with the mechanics and general gameplay loop of the game. Give it a shot i say! Also there is nothing like naked knife runs to get yourself started. Every item found feels good and every backpack/gun/vest feels like a gift from above.
Amazing, always love the videos especially the item popups! You and Fairtx are the go to Tarkov guys keep up the great work! (You guys should do a collaboration)

Been watching from the sidelines since I started with tarkov for the first time this wipe. Your content gave me the fundamentals and I'm trying to reach the epsilon case one day lol. Hoping to see you live one day
Aayy, glad to hear it!
I'm live again Monday at 11am EST
Hey. Amazing movie as always. Still hoping for an another tour de fence run. Maybe including access to therapist for meds.
Wonderful video! It’s the first of your stuff I have seen! Loving it so far
Thank you! I have quite a few others like this you'd also enjoy I'm sure
This "beginner" map is horrendous. Forcing new players into a tiny map with way too many pmcs is not conducive to player retention. Every task area is hard camped as you see in this video. Seems like a major design flaw.
More like major skill issue
Loved this, the first few minutes when you were weaponless being chased by the scavs and hiding behind the car I was hoping you'd look left and see the stairs down to the room with crates 😂
Ha, glad you enjoyed the vid. Not sure if you finished but we did discover this room eventually haha
@5:00 there is that room you breach gun spawns and the dead static that has guns at times. Right beside that grenade box lol
Keep watching 😎👍
I will love your videos
Hell yeah! Been waiting for this drop :D huge effort and thank you so much. Keep it coming please.
That's my guess at least, trying to see if there's a benefit I'm unaware of
All your vids are great, but I especially love these long story ones. Appreciate your work 😊
Loved the content brother. It’s good to see different challenges within the game.
this is awesome bro, just subbed
Thank you! Welcome to the channel
I would like any sort of videos, even without editing, somehow your playstyle and voiceovers are amazing, every time I see you have a new video I stop watching streams/other vids and look tune yours in! :)
Gearless Gary knows the 5 rules of Scavball! :)
Dip, duck, dive, dodge, and cram expensive tools up your bum
Thanks for the 2 hour banger Fox!
Thanks for watching!
It was nice. Kept me entertained for 2 days! Hope there will be a day 2!
just finished watching the streams for this video :) a little bit every day after work. thank you for another video and hope to catch you live one day
swamp your the reason ive been aable to survive on tarkov thanks for helping with the basic heals
so, hot take: If you are someone who has never played EFT/SPT before, Zero to hero is probably the absolute best way to start. yes it is harder BUT chances are you have no idea what anything in your stash is or how to use it/prioritize it properly starting out and are likely to just lose it immediately in the confusion.
Ha, we are actually, and thank you!
