If you have never been near this sorta thing you cannot understand the terror.
I grew up in Tornado Alley and we never felt terror. It was just part of life. Don't get hysterical.
I felt terror when I heard the hail core coming toward the house in Norman, OK a few years or so ago. It wasn't a tornado but it sounded like a train coming and we all thought it was a tornado. I had been in Oklahoma for about eight years and I usually ignored most of it, but damn, when you hear it coming right at you, it's something different.
@@texaswunderkind Good for you. Not everyone is you.
Most tornados I grew up with were the ones that touch down in hurricanes
@CDavis-wo2hp not where you do chief on purpose.
R.I.P. Tornado Victims 🙏
R.I.P. victims of US agression that provoked a civil war in Russia
@@FULLTILTSWIFF When?
My gosh, the devastation is horrific. I asked my church to pray for everyone affected by the tornadoes this morning. We will continue to pray for all of you during this most difficult time. Also prayers for peace and comfort for the families of those we’ve lost. 🙏🙏🙏
horrific devastation? have you seen Ukraine where your government provoked a civil war?
I've had two tornados pass by my house within a half mile. There's nothing you can do except shelter and hope they don't hit you directly. Scary living in the midwest.
Yes, it is. Just a month ago, a bad tornado struck my part of Ohio with the worst damage being a half mile away. It still looks a bomb site.
My home and small city was turned into an Apocalyptic scene Mother's Day 2015 and it was amazing how many other states with their own equipment showed up immediately to begin the great needs of the city reduced to rubble...
I sure pray the same will occur for these lovely Americans in Sulphur Oklahoma.
Let us all pray for one another not only in this storm season but daily. This nation needs to pray daily and never diminish the great power of prayer.
Pray for Oklahoma 😢, Prayers to Everyone one 😢

Mother is a heartless beast. Prayers for Oklahoma and the other states. I know one fanpmily lives right out of this small town Sulfer. They are devastated for their town and friends.
Sorry for their losses. Praying for Everyone. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
god is omniscient. He knew this would happen.
‘At any point were you scared?’ Might be the dumbest question in the history of journalism given the girl just said it was like a bomb going off.
Agreed, I commented the same
Praying for all.
god is omnipresent. He was there when it happened.
Let us pray for all the victim's of this horrible and terrifying calamity
@@altheamileyforio8633 No need for prayers. god is "omniscient." He already knows what your praying for.
Prayers for the people in Sulphur Ok. 😢I am so sad to see the devastation. I pray that you rebuild. My condolences to the families who lost their loved one. This is so sad. 😭

Sounds like there's something wrong with you.
If those clothes were out like that in other cities, they would have been gone!
The fact that the clothes are hung out like that perfectly when the entire side of the building was ripped out by high winds tells you someone propped them up for the news shot. Come on.
@@dillon5155you’re slow aren’t you?

@dillion5155; you obviously don’t know much about Tornadoes, earthquakes or storms in general, often items will remain perfectly aligned on one shelf while the rest of the room looks like a bomb went off!

My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in OK, especially Sulpha, OK, very sad 😔.
A tornado passed just a couple miles from my house and wiped out a small town. It was a wild night.
Ohhhh no!😢 So sad 🙏🏽

It looked more like damage of a F4, really destructive. Prayers for all the affected 🙏🏻. We live just south of the red river, in Denton Texas.. we had tornado watches all night.
Very unfortunate. 😓
Prayers for u all. Sorry
Prayers for all affected🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
I saw the destruction last night in sulphur and I knew the results were going to be bad
Is there a way to build a dome shaped building that doesn't catch the wind as these places do? Brick seems to survive.
Yes. The question is whether or not it would be cost effective, useful, and desirable to consumers. Do you want cities made up of only domes? This isn't Logan's Run.
@@texaswunderkind Well, the existing approach failed. Again.
Yes. Concrete dome houses or monolithic dome houses. Look them up. Do you remember the scene in star wars where I think Luke Skywalker was in a partially buried dome house in a desert? That house is somewhere in the southwest.
Praying for these people
Prayer always works.
I heard about the ones that hit Iowa and did lots of damage.Hate to hear about my home state getting hit.prayers for the families who lost homes and businesses.❤❤
So sorry to see all of this devastation. Healing vibes to OK and Nebraska.
An EF-3 is a lot more than 136 mph. The damage sure looks like one hit though.
Wow, that's massive damage in several states and the season is just starting. What will they do, are there supplies and funds to rebuild? Can they consider building dwellings underground rather than above ground in tornado areas?
😢😢😢oh God give us Mercy 😢😢😢
God bless the souls who were taken and comfort and strengthen those remaining on Earth. I'm so sorry to everyone hit in these tornadoes.
Very very sorry to see the loss

I will never understand why people even live in these tornado prone areas.
Best wishes, my heart goes out to you residents! My kids live in broken arrow so I watch the weather in OK.
The sound of the tornado..🎉🎉
Maybe the protesters can show up and help their fellow Americans.
Hey you guys is it there any way they can build houses underground? I know that’s unpopular but that might save yourself for a lot of tornado damage you know it’s inevitable they do hit, just saying!
I always say if I lived there, my house would be underground like Bugs Bunny. All you would see is a mailbox!
I guess if you want it to constantly flood. That was part of the problem last night. Underground tornado shelters flooded so people couldn't get in them. It's also not "inevitable". I've lived in different tornado alleys my entire life and have yet to be hit. My grandparents grew up in the same area and never got hit by one.
@@debanydoombringer1385 Seriously. I lived in Nebraska for 35 years and never once saw a tornado. Lots of tornado watches and a few tornado warnings, but never once. Also never saw any damage, though my cousin's house was destroyed in a tornado about 40 miles from where I lived.
Cracking up. The front of the building is ripped off but the clothes are still neatly hung on the racks. What?
That really happens whether we can believe it or not.
@CDavis-wo2hp when a tornado destroyed my neighborhood at my neighbors their fish tank was the only thing left and the fish were just chilling swimming around like nothing happened.
When a tornado causes damage to a building or other inclosed infrastructure, its mostly caused not by the strong winds in the tornado, but by the extreme decreased in air pressure that the high winds cause. This rapidly creates effective high pressure inside of the building, popping off the roof, doors etc. Large, heavy, secure items inside the building can remain in place if the tornado leaves the site fast enough. Of course, larger slow moving tornados will remove roofs doors etc., and then cause more damage, flatten houses etc. Hope this helps!

Lord help us all.

We are OKLAHOMASTRONG!! our lil towns are coming together and its amazing to see.

Has anyone ever built a tornado proof building?
6 or seven years ago there were stories about a typhoon proof house in Florida; the reason I ask.
It's called a bunker. Do you want to spend your whole life in a dank, dark, windowless hovel for that one time you might need to take shelter? Who lives in fear like that?
Dome houses
Yes. Look up concrete dome houses or monolithic dome homes or houses.

There are so many idiotically incoherent comments made during this devastating tragedy.I can’t imagine experiencing such a terrifying life threatening situation. Folks, compassion & empathy are the appropriate response. Have we really lost the ability to not make everything political? As with all storm disasters, the Governors of the states affected will ask for federal assistance and they will receive it. It’s the disruption, injuries, and loss of life that is heartbreaking. What can we all do to help? Imagine if this was happening to you.
Do you have compassion and empathy for people living on the rim of a volcano?

Human accelerated climate change is real. We need to expedite more diversity in energy sources. Minimizing carbon fuels utilization. No more drill baby drill. We need grow baby grow. Biofuels, solar energy, etc., anything to reduce carbon fuels and at the same time become more energy independent.
Coal power plants produce more toxic waste than nuclear power. Remember that the next time someone says green energy is a fraud.
The same people telling you coal is bad are the same people that denied nuclear power plants in the 80s
@@HeywoodJablowme-ro5utNuclear energy is not advocated by solar energy groups. Each energy source has their own supporters. The smoke and combustion gases that are emitted from coal are toxic. Even charcoal which is not the same as coal releases considerable amounts of toxic gases, notably carbon monoxide (CO). As I said in my original comment, we need ALL energy sources and we need to DIVERSIFY our energy sources to transition to greener energies. We need to be energy independent and minimize our dependence on energy imports. Instead of using energy to drill, we could be harvesting solar energies from deserts. Anything and everything to minimize carbon fuel dependence.
Are there any people from Turkmenistan😢

Why are all these people SMILING? Devastation of this Magnitude, yet all the ones on camera have a smile and show little to no real emotion? Yes, I hear all the time not everyone reacts the same or as you expect but come on, why are all the ones interviewed on camera smiling and clearly ACTING? Not real in MY OPINION!! Too many smiling & ACTING ~ no true devastation from these so-called 'victims'. Yes I can obviously see the Horrific Destruction but only see little to no emotion from those interviewed hmm?
