I'm nudging into my 70th year and for the last decade or so, I've been off new music. I can't put my finger on why but I just have been. I just stumbled over Tom Buckovac and now Daniel Donato and it's like my life long passion for music has been reinvigorated, reignited and reawakened and I just wanted to say thank-you for that. Cheers fellas my ears are thirsty once again!
I'm a dozen years behind you. Immerse yourself in Spafford. Adult jam with 4-way improv. I think you'll like it. Plus they live stream most of their shows. Lots to listen to out there.
This was such an amazing session !!! Cant even explain the fun we had ! Booze , BB guns, ,Wicked musicians and the legendary Photographer Danny Clinch !
Dang….are you trying to force me to pick this song over Fox on the Run as my favorite?!? Decisions, decisions….thank you Daniel for sharing! See you in Raleigh and Charlotte! ❤️
This... 🚀! The planetary alignment seems favorable for blast off for DDCC! 🔥 🕺 💃 🏜 So excited for this band and what's in store for those who don't know yet... YET! Much love from the cosmos interplanetary beings! 👨🚀
that twang or vibratto in the bass is so unique. I am completely enthralled with the baseline of this tune. He kills 2:25. I really like the whole thing, Danny is so on it, keboards and percussion but the bass really makes it for me.
Heard (and taped, on colbruce channel) this song in Dallas when DDCC opened for Margo Price, did a 17min Dance in the Desert. Highlight of the set as far as dancing Love this HQ version! Keep jamming 4-on-the Floor COSMIC
😆 you dont have to like it, but it seems everybody else does. I for one prefer human imperfections over the auto-tuned, pitch-corrected, over produced sound of commercial pop country and rock any day of the week.
@@hegemonycricket2182 "Everybody else"? That's an impressively blinkered, broad brushed generalization. "Everybody else" may very well be all the people that eat at McDonalds, KFC, Taco Bell, & Subway. My comment has nothing to do with likes and dislikes, I'm simply pointing to the facts. It goes without saying that auto-tune is abhorrent. And there's rather a significant difference between "human imperfection" and singing out of tune. Whether I "like" it or not, the objective facts point to this music being contrived, cliche ridden hackery with weak vocals and a disco beat. There is nothing in any way cosmic about it.
@@ericmalone3213 are you one of those people who think post malone is the best artist in the world? Lol just curious. Also, have you checked out any other songs by DDCC? There's plenty of examples of "cosmic" style and influence, for example the last section of the song "weathervane" is quite funky.

This is a stunning recording, both the musical performance and the videography. Might this have been video recorded with a drone camera?

This isn't "cosmic country", it's "disco country" with very lame, often out of tune vocals.
