Squirrley would you mind making a series from like having 4 usd to 1,400 or something? i think that would be cool if its also a live walkthrough
I've been using cash for item sites to get items at INSANE discounts (80-10% off!) And flipping them on scm and converting it back into items
Can you do a video showing the signs that you should look for when trying to spot a good deal and what items are normally sold for good and easy to flip prices but also what you should try to list and item for so its more appealing and people will want to buy it because it looks like a good deal
I need my eyelander ks kits lmao
Sure Squ1RRelly i like your advice, but you probably make more money from these trading videos then you make from the trades themselves.
Also the chances of these methods working for everyone is low, because the TF2 Economy relies on people to lose money on thier items. Some lose money for you to gain money

Update on my unusual trading. I have 10 keys. Bought Unusual for 6.6, sold it for 7 keys. Made about 20 ref profit, not alot but it is still profit!
Where did you buy and sell the Unusual?
I found a good technique is buying professional killstreak fabricators, crafting them and selling the kit for profit. I made $10 profit today with an iron bomber kit. just rinse and repeat.
Yeah but at the same time you gotta consider how much money it's gonna cost you to buy the spec ks weapons, as well as the robot parts if you don't have them. So maybe you buy a pro ks fabricator for 3 dollars, and you can relist the kit for 10, but it costed about 3 dollars to get everything, so you only made 2 or 3 bucks because on top of that you gotta get shafted by the SCM fee! I mean any profit is good but it's something to keep in mind!
@@unholymackerel8072 he still made $10 profit
Squirrel man tells you how to save and spend your acorns efficiently
Exactly the kind of stuff that I need
i have an amazing tip: buy unusualifiers for cheap when its not a christmas/halloween season, then once those seasons hit you could be making lots of money, depending on how much you bought
I suppose that could be a good idea but you rlly have no idea if the prices will rise
@@ummagumma2954 its called a calculated risk and its what smart people do constantly to make money.
can this actually work? and why do people buy unusualifiers when its Christmas or Halloween?
@@ME-wy5uv they buy unusualifiers because when say its halloween unusualifiers can apply halloween unusual effects but when its not halloween not smissmas it will just apply a random general effect
Why would I have 400 dollars lying around?
Maybe you wanna keep the bank from giving you fees per months in your bank account so you just idle 400-500$ to save yourself money in the long run.
@@GoibniuNihiliste Steam taxes a percentage tax and so do cashout services.
@@GoibniuNihiliste or you could take that 400 dollars convert it into usdc and stake it for up to 12% interest or you could do usdt and get up to 15.39% interest (also these are stablecoins so they will almost always have a value of $1 USD as they each coin is tied to a real dollar)
I don't even trade but trading is really interesting to me.
Bro, I tried trading but isn't good, the profit is bad, and there are more possibilities of losing. btw for me the best method is buying and selling stuff on SCM, in 2 months I have done 120€ from 5
I have tried trading twice, but it really didn’t work out for me. It’s a kind of thing where some things go your way, and some things don’t. You also need to have patience. The main thing is: you need to have a balanced start. For example, unusual trading, you will need a minimum of 10 keys to start (you can start lower). At the end of the day, you learn something new from trading.
This is crazy, I was watching the old video you had about how to make profit off SCM just this morning. Good timing bro hahaha
videos that go straight to the point and it will work most of the times
so thats why you had those warpainted items in your inventory
I want to do this but I don't have money lying around to just throw at buying rate deals
I’ve done this a couple of times and found some good deals. Stupid me didn’t realize it is a legit profit trading strategy.
did this method in the summer and managed to get $20 of steam funds from it
I had a Halloween fire strange phlogistonator, I bought it for ~7 keys and sold it for like 11 and I think it is near 20 keys now 🤔

I'm the only one who can relate with 400 dollars sitting around.
Love the vid
squirrelly's so inspirational
Lol
i was starting with 12€ and now i have 20€ am getting higher
Keep going!
I recently sold a TF Logo Tundra Top for just under 115$ on SCM/got 100$ from it. I bought it for 24 keys(which I got for 1.80$ from Mp.tf before the big seller close) and basically ended up getting a Max's Head(which I'm keeping) and 20 keys for free ontop of it. 24 keys for upwards of 40+ keys of value -- ~40-50$/At least 13-15 key profits. It took a couple weeks but as they say, patience is golden. Bought Screaming Tiger Mannrobics for 27$ and resold for 37-40$ shortly after buying it.
I probably wouldn't have started this if I didn't watch the guides about a month ago. Making any sale gets me really pumped, but since I don't play a ton of TF2 anymore(plan on really getting back into it sooner or later), I can wait a while to sell stuff.
Right now the market I'm trying to corner is unusual taunts since I love taunts and like neat particle effects, so it's a win-win. I don't like making prices ultra-expensive, but I find SCM far easier than trading when it comes to easily making profits, even with Gaben's cuts. So far things are going great and I can't wait for the next big break.
The goal is to build up profits until I can get myself a neat all-class unu hat with a really good effect(Scorching BoA or modest pile?), a neat taunt(think Nether Void Mannrobics), and maybe one unusual taunt for every merc respectively.
well you can buy festivizer apply it on gun and sell it for more ... for example festivizer costs 1 € if you apply it on ubersaw itll cost 2€ that is cca 70 cents profit. imagine doing that in big
thank you for these videos squirrelly
hey squ1rrelly can u make a video about low tier trading
The virtual economist has one about it. I actually think that the community market is better for low tier trading than backpack.tf or anything like that.
@@ezrac704 yeah i saw his video but i want to see what squ1rrelly does differently and if he has any tricks for low teir trading
I would upgrade my gpu tbh
Squirrelly you are my favorite youtuber! i have been trading for about 8 months and have racked up a few unusuals, i was wondering how often do you find good SCM deals because i never seem to find them?
Thanks squirrelly I bough a factory new war paint for 8 dollars, put it on a scattergun, festivized it and sold it for 30 dollars. Thanks so much
these videos and tips are great. but when i find deals on items and buy them, its REALLY hard to sell them, weeks go by without them selling despite its price being the cheapest/a deal in it of itself. any tips for that?
i just was watching one of your videos from 2019 and was just wondering if you did guides, i was blessed with this as next video
As if beating bots and SCM scripts wasnt hard enough, you also have to be extremely lucky to get a good deal among all the deal snipers
Can't find anything, nothing jumps at me, guess im just unlucky.
You can also try to buy the almost finished pro ks so you can use like 2 or 3 parts just to finish them and resell the crafted killstreak, that’s what I did and I won like 20 euros with a pro ks scattergun.
I actually really enjoy trading on the market. I've just been doing basic warpaint stuff, but it's been super fun. I've only made about three dollars of profit in two weeks, but that isn't really the point.
Hello I have an unusual gun paint and it’s condition is (well worn) should I use it ? And if I should what would your suggestion might be?
How should i sell the skin i purchased? I(via trading or steam market??)
Look the prices on stn trading
how does he do the pumpkin bombs filter?
check "Include descriptions in search" in the search tab
@@yametoad thank you very much
I'm really sad because they scammed me for my unusual toy soldier hat and a few keys now all I have is a pyro 3 key worth taunt unusual
I dont even have a premium steam account be happy what you have kid
ye guys ive got $10,000,000,000 lyin around lemee just go shoppin yknow
The cheapest exquisite rack was mine :O
Cool
I went from 7€ to +100€ in a year, I'm bad at trading but reselling on steam market is sooo easy
Yeah, today I made 0,80€ profit by buying 3 big earner ks kits put them on weapon and just sell
btw congrats
@@gergo3203 Nice that what I'm doing!
@@MR-zi8gy Awesome
A year ago I unboxed a pair of nice gloves in csgo. Got 850€ to my steam account and wasted it in 1 week. Have nothing left of that.
Hey, when I try to filter for spells such as pumpkin bombs, nothing will show up. how did you search with the advanced filter in order to find the spells?
make sure you check "Include descriptions in search" in the tab with all the details you can specify
@@yametoad thank you, i was losing my mind
In the vid before this you had 60 dollars, in this one you have 400, shows how much this makes
Somehow reminds me when i buyed the Katzosky Kick and had an Australium Ambassador. And 1 month later or so, my Steam-account got hacked. One Month later, i found out how to get my account back. Got my account back and this [REDACTED] who hacked me stole some items, like robot parts and so and, you know my aus Ambassador and Katzosky kick. Someone knows how to get my crap back?
Squirelly can you make a video where you do a steam market profit thing but only use like 10$ or use like relatively cheap warpaints
bruh only thing is i only have 2.something to spare
so profit magin is lower
but this helps
for some reason i can't search for spells on the community market, nothing shows up
ok i fixed it, if ur having the same issue, check "include description in search" on the advanced search
Big question I have been asking for awhile. If I was to put a skin on a stock weapon which weapon would you choose to get the most profit.
it’s always gonna be more profitable to just sell the war paint itself. but i’ve noticed scatterguns, rocket launchers, and sometimes sniper rifles sell higher.
Not often I have 400$ lying around
when will they drop hallween spells again, it's getting really boring seeing these nice Spells kept in a massive price tag
smh my head
Hey! Could you do a video, that covers low tier steam market trading? Like 30- 40 dollars. :)
Yeah i need that too lol
30-40 isnt low tier trading lmao wtf?
video starts at 1:57
What should I do if I think I have canc51?
How do you search just the effects? when I try it just blanks im so confused and jealous
You need to check “Find in descriptions” thing in filter
TYSM IM STILL BROKE :D
if the warpaint is cheaper on, for example, bp.tf, should I just buy it off of there and then sell on SCM.
Yeah but you should multiply the item's SCM price (you wanna sell it on) with 1,15 and you will get that money as a result
@@gergo3203 sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean.
Have you tips where to buy steam cards cheaper? :)
no one in their right mind would sell you a steam card for cheaper than its normal price
@@yametoad exactly
@@yametoad If u would have watched more videos from him then u would know, that he told he knows where to get steam cards for cheaper
I’ve watched your precious videos on this, but I literally have never EVER found something good on the steam market and I’ve tried for hours. I have more luck on scrap.tf auctions.
