A lovely French girl agrees to help the guys out, in a plan to raise expense money for the birth of Christy's child.
Two great gags - Binghamton getting flattened by the door (that never seems to get old and Flynn does it so well) and Gruber's complete lack of an 'off' switch once they've got the money. Class ensemble stuff.
R.I.P. Tim and thanks for all the laughs, you were one in a million...
We will miss him.
One of the greatest episodes of this. The comedy team of Flynn and Conway is just one of the best in FUNNY.
I love this show I remember watching it with my Dad my dad was Chief of the Navy and we watched every week I watch it now 2021 and I think about today back in the day still good show..

The pretty french girl in this episode (Yvette Gerard) is actress/singer Claudine Longet. She was born in Paris, France. The beauty is the former wife of Andy Williams. She was also known for shooting her one-time boyfriend, ski legend Spider Sabich in 1976. Oui oui, what a babe!

As a Navy type, I can honestly attest that this sort of scheme would not be out of place even in today's fleet. Also, JESUS H CHRIST they don't make 'em like that anymore!

Claudine Longet. She was in all of the WWII shows back then. 12 O'Clock High, The Rat Patrol, Hogan's Heroes, and Combat. Had a total crush on her back then, but I was 5, and she was married. Probably why she never wrote back. Her Wikipedia page is very interesting.
This is why I joined the navy, boy was I wrong.

All the Rubbish started with M.A.S.H. & HOGAN HERO’S and comedy Rubbish like THE BIG BANG THEORY (Gays & Lesbians) and the other Rubbish they make in Hollywood now!!! McHALES NAVY was the best comedy ever made.
