JP, Gran Canaria is the only island I've not been to (yet!). What a beautifully smooth landing ... Ryanair take note! Seeing the plane approach the island reminded me of a dear friend called John whose favourite destination was Gran Canaria. Sadly he passed away 5 years ago at the age of just 61 ... it was great to 'experience' the route he'd travelled so many times ... thanks! :)
Great video JP, this week we would have been flying to Fuerteventura. This video from Binter takes me to the Canary Islands a bit. The occasion for you was very sad but the video was nice to watch thankyou
Very nice, very smooth, presumably hand flown short finals. Early morning, no one else in the circuit - why not? ;-) Its local area flying to these guys. Never understood why FUE Approach, turns Finals so far south, appx 20km. It would be perfect for short finals.
Hi JP I know I'm late to see this video, but the has come up at just the right time. I'm going to Gran Canaria in February for a week's holiday. I've been three times in about two years, love the place. I usually take a coach tour round the island, but just the other day I was watching a Binter take off from Lanzarote on the webcam, and thought, why don't I take a day trip to another island? I'd love to fly in one of those planes. Better than Ryanair, I dare say. But which island? I'd like to get a bus to somewhere interesting (and back to the airport obviously) without rushing and worrying about the time. (Though the main point is the flight itself!) Do you have any suggestions?
As I only really know Fuerteventura well (and Lanzarote fairly well) then I can't really comment on the others. I guess it depends on what you particularly find interesting Mark. From Fuerteventura airport you could get a bus to the capital (not that exciting) and then elsewhere, such as Corralejo (the dunes beaches) etc. It would be better to send me an email message or a Facebook message as if you reply to this I often don't get a notification so won't see it.
Between Fuerte and Tenerife and Gran Canaria there are usually up to 10 flights a day each. They are very cheap for residents as we get a 75% discount (and on the ferries). I just did a quick search on the Binter site and full price can be as low as 11.75€ if booked a few days in advance at the moment.
@@JPinFuerteventura thanks so much for the tips and info, we can’t decide on which canary island together at the moment, so knowing things like this makes a big difference
Propeller planes like that scare the crap outta me. My experiences in them have quite a bit of turbulance. I hate flying anyway. Flybe are fond of those type planes for short journeys

Thanks for watching Esmeralda
Wish I was on that plane. Pouring cats and dogs now in Wales. Jealous of all that sunshine. Hope you and your family are well!
That took me back a bit, JP. I think the last turboprop I flew on may have been a Vickers Viscount. Thanks for the video.
Viscounts are my all time favourite turboprops. They don't make pretty aircraft like that any more. Thanks for watching.
Pretty smooth landing... I couldn't even recognize the touchdown.
I guess with such short flights they get plenty of practice 😉
Excellent steady filming John. I love to sit opposite the flight attendant (the four seater on the front right) on Binter flights.
Perfect JP. The vews, the noise waouh! I like to hear the hostess speaking spanish language. Thanks👍🤩💚
Thanks for watching Patrick.
Brilliant.t JP. I love watching planes land . I find it strangely relaxing 😁stay safe and well 🥰
I hope a few million others do too Amanda but I doubt it 😉
A nice aircraft.
I like them. It is a bit more like real flying. Thanks for watching Les.

I seem to remember turning over Caleta once but you are right, mostly long finals. Thanks for watching Ian.

Looks a bit greener than Fuert!
How often are the flights between the Canary Islands? Are they affordable as well? Or is it better to take ferries
