Were you nervous about it when it followed you through the trees? It was really impressive that it didnt hit any since my understanding is that it didn't have front obstacle avoidance? Impressive!
Not at all! You are correct, it does not have any obstacle avoidance to the front, rear, or top. It KINDA does on the bottom. The way it follows, it's almost as if it records the path you make as you move and then follows that same path as best it can. I also tend to guide it with my body when I'm in tighter areas, drawing it past trees before I change direction. I've found that the faster you make it chase you, the greater the chance of actually running it into something. Lol, mine has hit fences, walls, and tree branches. So far, so good!
@@frankbui1510 You're so very welcome! If you haven't already seen it, I have another cinematic video that I shot at sunrise. I think it does a better job of showing what this is capable of... ua-cam.com/video/9dECR2FZ0eQ/v-deo.htmlsi=hWtIHeTsaXmHgUsO
@@LifeOfIvyQuinn I have seen it and love the shots it's capable of! I have a mavic pro and sometimes the shots I want are quick but it takes too long to setup(unfolding, remote, launching phone app, waiting for gps) just for a quick 5 second shot so I think this would be perfect.
@@frankbui1510 Right on, thanks for watching! THAT is exactly what makes this little drone so good. It takes less than 30 second to power it up and get it in the air. I definitely want a GPS drone for bigger/higher/faster shots, but this one does great for the moment.
great video! love the different angles and shots. that little drone is cool!
Thank you! It really is a neat little piece of equipment.
