Liking the tweaks to the presentation style and looking forward to more top 5's throughout the course of the season.
I picked up last years Nitro Dinghy and couldn't be happier with it. I ride with 12.5 size boots and it seems to fit my big ass feet while carving and ripping groomers. Haven't heard much from the new model but if it's anything like last year's you can't go wrong with it. Works well enough in pow, handles the chunder fairly well and the groomers absolutely rip it down the mountain. Glad to see the Nitro Dinghy in one of your lists this year!

The new production quality is sick! Also for anyone that reads this I had the Dinghy last season and it was my favorite board to ride aside from my korua dart.

I'm currently riding a 2023 YES DCP (similar to the PYL) ...I switched last year after 20 years on Burton Customs .I've gotta say, it's a ridiculously good board , and we'll worth the money. Handles great in POW and carves like a champ. Let's not forget supporting 3 of the most legendary company owners in the business.
If I'm buying a new board this season, the Artefact definitely is my top pick. Only downside is it seems like it lands fairly similarly to my Season Nexus, but hey, more the merrier I suppose

Had a demo day on the dingy with about 8in of wind dry blown pow at the beav. board had tons of flout and so playful in tight pines. would ride again! yo Avran you ever in SLC?

I've ridden the same Burton Sherlock 162W(flying v profile) since 2014. I'm 180lbs, 6'2" and wear a size 12 boot. I live in California but ride around the American/Canadian Rockies & PNW. Advanced rider who likes to find the steepest lines in the resort (including inevitable moguls), smash tree runs, and explore side country/hike nearby peeks. BUT I don't know crap about boards!
I just got new Burton Photon step ons (I'm sure you're gag reflex is kicking in) and need to get the bindings + new board to complete the overdue setup upgrade. I feel pretty confident that all of these any the other boards on your top 5s would suffice as an improvement, but each top 5 video I watch has its own blend of boards from companies. Can you help narrow down the selection based on my criteria?
The boards that are highest on my list are k2 excavator/alchemist, Jones Flagship/Aviator, Yes UnInc boards (Warca, PYL), Golden Orca. Am I going in the right direction? Any favorites on this list/otherwise?

The one board from them I wasn't able to get on.
I would personally say that the nitro suprateam is an underrated board. Got one myself and love it but more or less never see anyone else riding them
And that board isn’t in their line up anymore.
I hope that Borealis sends you the updated Tundra or the new Horizon to check out. Your perspective on the brand has probably peaked a lot of curiosity among your viewers.

@@TheDerekHyde It honestly depends on how it's done. You layer it wrong, you'll dent the core. Make it too soft it's a noodle and has issues. Mill it too thick and once again you have issues.
How would you compare the Borealis to the Dynamo?
More snappy and a different type of dampening it doesn’t feel heavy but more lively while still crushing chop. On edge it locks in differently and doesn’t have as aggressive of a hood as the Dynamo.

I feel like Amplid wouldn’t be considered under hyped cuz their name carries a lot of weight. I got to ride 3 of their boards last year and although I liked them, I’m happy not having one in my arsenal
