Vic and his friends remind me of me and my friends at that age, we didn't gang bang but we loved good hip hop and rage. We smoked a lot of weed and basically stayed out of trouble as much as we could.
this was prolly one of my favorite episodes so far. i was hoping the save money crew would be included.i fucks with the fact that they all came together to get him out of jail, and his mom was the shit. he got all the right people on his side.
Been on a bender on these Chiraq vids about CHief Keef and Durk and em. But happy they did an episode w/ Vic and his crew. They looked like they're having the best time, I actually re-watched the episode and erased all the negativity from all the other Chiraq episodes. Partying w/ these guys would be sick. Tbh didn't know who Vic was coming into this but remembered he ddi that joint w/ Kanye. Gonna look into more of his music now because of this tho. That orange soda joint is sick. Might as well be my theme song since I can live off Orange Crush
I like the feeling of hitting the ground running this episode presents. Leaving off the Drill movement for a bit and latching on to Vic nem when they are already doing something completely different. Like switching characters in GTA V. Well executed, and the positivity flows. Good work. Try to get Chance in this series yo.
I'm so glad you guys covered some of the SAVEMONEY crew. Definitely some fresh shit coming out of Chi-town and 2014 is gonna be their year and that's after 2013 where they had probably the dopest projects of the year.
i was gunna use a robbery anecdote i just used that as an example that if he has a gun and i have a gun he probably wont go for it if he has the risk of dying too the drug story doesn't matter
I like this cat. Just seems like a real down to earth type of dude. Authentic, and doesn't feel the need to "impress" anyone, and keep true to himself.
Wow their bond is inspiring though. Who can say they have friends that will take $1500 just to get them out of ja?l. I can't respecting he got in there in the first place but his friends are good ones.
I like how most of you all were complaining about Save Money being "whack" when there the ones that bailed out their homie out of jail. Think about that...
jay dubbs it curses people out..it holds my clip while i get the 380 out the dash...um it speaks love to my children...and when i'm around strangers it doesn't say much... :-)
This was my introduction to Vic. Honestly, he tried to come off as the ‘cool kinda edgy black guy that’s into metal/rock’ WAY too hard in this. It was weird. Edit: after reading the comments, I realized I completely forgot he dissed XXX. Makes perfect sense. He wanted to be the cool black guy that’s edgy/into rock
Much better to see some other cats from chi town on here. Refreshing! These guys seem to have there minds on point a bit more then your chief keefs, SD's etc. Lil durk knows wassup tho.
Yo this was probably my favorite one tho. It was just mad chill, and it really kind of gave you a glimpse into their real life. It was just real. Oh yea and we got to finally meet Tokyo Shawn! I'm crazy interested in Shawn he seems mad cool. Vic Mensa is mad cool too. They seem like good peoples...
glad they gave a real hip hop artist like Vic an episode instead of just focusing on 300 the whole series. Shows that noisey/vice once again knows exactly what is good
savemoney is what chicago's all about right now, the music/the general vibe they put out..its what sets the chi apart from other cities. some of y'all won't understand and think its lame cause it not the chicago you expected but i guess you'd have to experience growin up/living here to truly know wassup.
They finally decided to show Chicago and not Chiraq vic is right everytime you call it chiraq you only showing people you condone in the bullshit going on in the city
***** Why? Well to show people that theres actually hope in that city everytime i hear anything about chicago its about the murder rate and how bad things are and thats the only thing people hear & see when they look at chicago those who are not from there such as myself just think its cool to see people thats about more than pulling a trigger
There's people that just strictly listen to drill music and others that actually listen to hip-hop.. don't disrespect the genre. Blessed if you listen to both.
I love my city but this is what its come to. Like people only know what they hear on the news but till now no one ever took the time to really see how it is.
By the way hit me up when Vic Mensa makes a track out of that sick freestyle at the end. It's weird, everybody likes Chief Keef and stuff like that, and I listen to it too sometimes, but I enjoy the story around this genre more and also Vic Mensa, Joey Purp and those guys' music. It's just more composed as to Chief Keef who sometimes is just kinda saying words aaaandd that's it?
White reporter looked a lot more comfortable hanging out with these hipster Chicago rappers than Durk and them.
St john it was sack compared to a good one but t way tucking better than all this other dudes
thats cause he aint waiting on some sketch car to pull up..... these guys looking to hit an early grave before they see all that money
so weird how people feel alienated and uncomfortable when you aim loaded guns at their face...
A Lock ..and so would you
Casey Mathews Vic Mensa goes hard
Love how Purp's mum looks like a middle class soccer mum.
mum
Prosper That's how we say it here.
Do you need a botol of wata
@@bangbang3239 do you need a bulletproof vest to go to school.. or walmart.. or the cinema.. or church.. or a boddle of wahder from flint michigan

This entire series is really well done. Thanks for making it.

I loved this

people complaining about not seeing keef and durk... they are just tryna get some different perspectives from different people
I'm glad they interview SAVEMONEY ... just to show Chicago isn't just gangbangers & drill music. That's not the only perspective of my massive city.
i like vic mensa he seem chill af
I wonder if that girl realizes she just received a hat from vic mensa 😂 he may not be a huge name but i still like him and would think thats dope
+voteZDLR you made no type of sense bro
voteZDLR tf are you talking about
he a big name now. Weird watching this documentary and seeing all the people completely ignore him lmao, even purp
@@voteZDLR I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and hope you were just stoned off your ass watching this video.

You can tell he felt really safe in this episode than the other ones lol.
I'm so glad you guys covered some of the SAVEMONEY crew. Definitely some fresh shit coming out of Chi-town and 2014 is gonna be their year and that's after 2013 where they had probably the dopest projects of the year.
This is what real friends do when their counterparts are down. Shouts to Vic and the squaf
this was before vic was too cool for school
Brrooooo 😂😂
I'be been waiting for them to show Savemoney since the first episode. FINALLY!!!
tf his mama too chill lol
she hit the blunt

She thought he was gonna make it big cause he’s getting featured on Vice. Dude works at McDonald’s now
@@BlakeO561really?
This is the part of Chicago where you ain't gotta be lookin over your shoulder checkin for niggas tryna rob u.
if you strapped u dont have to do that

If you strapped that mean y'all gon be tradin shots, fuck you talkin bout.

Every time I see Vic on camera, all I wanna do is sit down, smoke, and watch videos...
I like this cat. Just seems like a real down to earth type of dude. Authentic, and doesn't feel the need to "impress" anyone, and keep true to himself.
thanks for the french version ! i watch all your documentary about rapper artist you do a good job and i wish you the best Noisey
Wow their bond is inspiring though. Who can say they have friends that will take $1500 just to get them out of ja?l. I can't respecting he got in there in the first place but his friends are good ones.
I know I dont have no friends that would do that for me.
I like how most of you all were complaining about Save Money being "whack" when there the ones that bailed out their homie out of jail. Think about that...
Im mad they didnt really get into any of Vic music really, cause he such a great counter point to Drill music scene.
that's hustlin at it's finest..
What that mouth do ?

Curly Crown Haha, way to roll with the punches, that was good.
Aaron Jackson lolol you have to these days..thanks
Props to a woman who takes shit from nobody! Seems like you're part of a dying breed unfortunately.

Thank you, Vic. Don't think I could've cracked that one.
Darius Simpson lmaooo hell nah
Vic is awesome man!
I appreciate Vic Mensa and his movement. Here in Chicago, its varying. The styles arent all hard.
Vic is a cool dude. I enjoyed this episode.
This is forreal the episode ive been waiting for this whole series. There is more to "chiraq" & this is proof.....Savemoney Yall
I like all Chicago rap, but it is refreshing to see some kids out of there who are not with that ratchet gun shit
Lol there are so many people who can't stand this drill shit. It's all about opinions.
Vic should get his own series!
The Harry Fraud beat at the end of the vid was bangin'. I hope he makes a track out of it.
Right now Chicago is a hotbed for hip hop and this episode is showin its more than Chiraq
off topic ass episode , vic and them should have they own lil series they aint got shit to do with the chriraq music shit
Ebkallday they are so much better!!!
Much better to see some other cats from chi town on here. Refreshing!

That's why I love chicago.

I like Chance a lot more but Vic and his music are really cool too.
They're both just so authentic and deep in musicality that you just can't hate on either.
Vic Mensa was speaking straight truth the people grew up in that its all they know ,but he doesnt like the negativity from the word chiraq. Real shit.
