I use this quote of Rebecca Solnitt to avoid the perfetionism, mainly when it paralyzes me: "So many of us believe in perfection, which ruins everything else, because the perfect is not only the enemy of the good, it's also the enemy of the realistic, the possible, and the fun."
The excerpt was so good! I of course don't have the context but from what you read I could vividly picture the setting and really get a window into the dynamic between the two characters! The advice from Colleen Hoover was also very helpful, as I've definitely been struggling in my own writing lately! So thank you for making this video!

It's great fun watching you! And your videos have a calming effect on me that not many can do :) Great challenge with the focus for an hour every day. And I love your time in nature. I was also out this morning in my taupe Birkenstock Arizona. My yoga teacher walks barefoot in her garden every morning and evening. Unfortunately I don't have a garden, just a balcony. That's why I had to find other routines that were tailored to me and I try to go for walks in nature regularly. However, I'm not as sporty as you at the beginning of the video, more in dreaming and slow mode :) Best regards 👣🌸🤗

Mainly looking for the "autofocus" timer feature (not necessarily Pomodoro timer) but both of these are only available on the paid version of Momentum :( Any suggestions would be highly recommended!

I know that this is an older video, but because you mentioned the danger of Foxglove, I had a question about your houseplants...It looks like you've got a lot of pothos, which is poisonous to cats and dogs if they chew on it. How do you ensure that Calvin stays safe? My family recently got a cat (whom we love) and I gave away all our plants because I don't want her to get sick =( Do you have any tips for keeping house plants while also caring for a cat?
Hi Laura! Sadly I don’t really have any great advice for this. I keep all my pothos up high, but only because they’re so viney and like to grow downward. I’ve honestly never seen Calvin show an interest in the houseplants even after nine years. I think he’s just not the type of cat to mess with them. Sorry I don’t have better advice!

And then one gets stuck every now and then, and you feel you’ll never get out of the mess-but you do! Writing is not particularly enjoyable. It’s hard work like everything else.” ❤️📖✍️
