How does the image of the Nexigo aurora pro compare to the Valerion visionmaster? Does the Valerion really have the better contrast and the better black level?

Do you calibrate the projectors that you review or you just do the basic settings in the projectors

Not always a full calibration, Always do a pre calibration and see how close it is then make adjustments.

Why would you buy this when the AWOL 2500 exists. Sure it's a good chunk cheaper but we're only talking around 700 bucks difference and either should last you years. It's not worth the penny pinching for much lower specs.

The native and dynamic contrast is miles better on the Nexigo, it's not even close. Now the lens is where the money is for the AWOL, so sharpness wise it could be worth it. If black levels are what you want, you get the Nexigo.

Also the pro has measured with higher lumens than advertised. On top of that they all measure lower than the published numbers in their accurate modes, so they're not that far apart in the end.
