I love what you’re doing here. I’ve never worked with clay but I still watch everything. I’m learning and picking up what I can. Eventually I will be able to work with clay, I’m just not there yet
I wondered if we was gonna get a video today since you uploaded yesterday to the classroom that’s such great simple earring I think we get so used to using cutters we forget about actually drawing out simple things that are fab and fun !
You are absolutely right! I have a ton of cutters and textures mat, and forgot how enjoyable is if I make my own design. Thank you a lot for this class, D. Big hugs ❤❤
I will be having a shopping trip online for the clays you speak of… I started with department chain store clay…. had a go with the Chinese cheap shop in clay, which was more like icing sugar, then the two dollar shop clay , which was pretty good. I think it might have been Thimo. Been practicing with resin and it’s mea….
okay, will. i would recommend you purchase the best clay you can get. go to michaels and get fimo or premo or cernit, my clay you can only get online. anyway, avoid sculpey3 because you'll just make something and it will break! others might have recommendations here. i only use kato so i cannot really recommend one of those over another. cheers, d
@@DonnaKatoArt I reckon it’s time to try the Kato. I have read the reviews and checked out the websites. I want to make things that will last & my fingers and hands are gnarled by decades of pastry work. I realised it wasn’t just me after I purchased the clay from a $2 shop and the result was 100% better but it doesn’t have much strength to it, turns into chalk if it’s sanded…. & I don’t particularly want to resin everything. I want to be able to make sure it lasts. I’ll start with a few things, white, conditioner and some of the blackening & buildup supplies, otherwise I’ll keep topping up the not so good wasting my time and money. Iol.
you know, that was just a decision made at the time, i've shown a lot of painted clay and so thought it'd be nice to show clay without paint! cheers, d
The gold skinner blend and copper gold paint make me think elegant Fall. 🍁 🫶🏻Thank you!
❤❤❤ oh my Lady K- I really like these I really do! I think the Skinner blend you used works perfectly with your leaf motif. You are always so amazing.

ooh, great tip!
Awesome tip!!!!! Thanks 😊
Hi, what is the reason that you don't paint your creations but rather use coloured clay?
you know, that was just a decision made at the time, i've shown a lot of painted clay and so thought it'd be nice to show clay without paint! cheers, d
