The story of a man who climbs the ladder of society by finding and selling a rare set of inanimate cowboy style toys. At the end we see him depressed, perhaps suggesting that money isn't happiness and even though he is "successful" he feels ultimately unfulfilled in his life. All Al's immoral behaviour to acquire the toys may have left him feeling like an outcast in society, with no friends to call his own.
