omg i saw your manga, its so cool, dude are u a tite kubo fan? WTF your trace is like him, its amazing, nice channel and never give up man :D i really liked it
You're a very good artist, Manga or otherwise. I use Manga Studio start to finish, and find things are a lot faster. For me, anyway, but I *do* have a Cintiq and that does help a lot.
Do you plan on doing a Kickstarter for AB Volume 1 to be in print when it's closer to completion? I'm totally backing Saturday Wars either way, but I'd be a lot more excited for Apple Black to be in print.
Dude youre great but you should switch over to digital art full like sketching inking do everthing on the computer its fun once u get used to it. Check out this likn and tell me what you think www.amazon.com/Ugee-Inches-Graphics-Drawing-Tablet/dp/B00NL4P3Y0/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1424904751&sr=1-1&keywords=ugee www.amazon.com/UG-2150-Monitor-Display-Pergear%C2%AE-Resolution/dp/B00RCMFN6A/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1424904751&sr=1-3&keywords=ugee
I remember watching this and pretty much all of your other videos over the summer of 2014, it was my first time using the G-Pen back then, but I'm finally getting closer to actually making my manga. To this day I still love how the artwork of early Apple Black looks, really just exudes Weekly Shounen Jump energy. I'm excited to get back into the series once the rerelease of volume 1 drops, the new cover looks great.
Whyt Manga Man thanks for this great tutorial to be honest i got super frustrated outlining my art via manga studio since i'm not that good into digital art since i have always prefer traditional way. i have to buy a g pen or a calligraphy pen to do the inking then scan and import the page into manga studio for further more inking and tones and so on! thanks man you have lifted up my spirits up there! i wish you success in your work and that your fans love your story! thanks a million!
loving your work, I find it's a lot easier to create my lines traditionally with ink, and edit the page in photoshop if necessary, rather than inking digitally.
I'm really enjoying these tutorials, man. No request right now, but just keep doing what you're doing :D! (Can't wait for future Apple Black chapters; take your time, though~)
I'm trying to do something like this at school for my art major. All I'm planning on using is a pencil, rubber, ruler, fine-point pens, thick-point sharpies and photoshop. No special paper either, just normal paper.
I would like to see some tutorials on how to make practicing more efficient or one how to go from using a lot of guidelines in a drawing to minimizing guidelines to something basic body shapes and how going about of finding your own way of doing it. I hope this helps for ideas for tutorials about skill building rather than making it for one thing only like heads or eye tutorials. Something different and helpful you know
I just started but i cant seem to do good inking but its probably because i rush when inking because i make pointless 3hour deadlines for alk my pages still turn out good but ill take my time on every aspect so my pages can look more proffesional the stories great though hope to share it one day
When your doing the stuff on the computer, are you using the mouse? Or do you have a stylus and pad of some sort? During the lassoing and touch ups? That's always confused me when I watch tutorials like these, I've never gotten a definitive answer. Great vid, as usual!
Hey I've been thinking about starting my own manga. I know your channel is based around tips and tricks but can you consider making a video about how you publish your manga and make a website for it?
your drawing style is soo good but i think something happened to the lines after the scanning ! they didnt look as good as they were on the paper. note that this has happened to me before! do u go over every single panel and just resharpen the edges of the lines ?
for the covers of your manga do you just use deleter paper? and when i draw my manga can i use the back side as well or do i have to use a differen't piece of paper?
sakurax sasuke I asked someone this question and they replied, and I quote, "I used the back of the paper, so I can have two sides per page." So yes, you can use the back of the paper when making the pages of a manga. For cover, I believe it's the heavier/thicker Deleter Manga paper A but I'll wait for the answer.
Hello i'm looking for improving my style my human topology is vary off and I cant seem to get it right I want to be a manga artist but i'm art looks more cartoonly than manga style. I have a natural talent when it come to drawing characters well since I dont trace. Whyt Manga I want to say that if you could do a human topology lesson man I would be thank full. your videos have been a ton of help thank you for you help and video that show this!
I might be new to u and ur followers but I just want to know it's okay to ink ur manga with graphite but without a g-pen or any inking pen, anyways thx for the inking tips.
Hi whyt manga, I’m an aspiring Artist and I am doing a paper for school asking about criticisms in UA-cam communities I belong to. I was just curious what were the biggest criticisms that you got starting out.
hi dont know if I missed it but do you have any tips for using the g-pen? I can't seem to get the pressure right... I either press too hard or the lines come out too thin.
The art of you manga is amazing and proffesional but you need to work on story becouse its not catchy.... with your art you might do something more "BANG" at the first few pages. Well, still love your artwork tho.
i have watch you for quite some time now, let me say it to you right now as a comic critic. Your skill in penciling is not half bad, but your inking is still clumsy. G-pen vs micron video? i watched it, you haven't fully mastered the g-pen to suddenly compare it to a fine liner. Check your art, reread your first volume you'll see what im talkin about. Make no mistake i like your spirit and making this things possible for you, great job. But you're not at the pro level yet.
***** sharpies are not permanent archival markers, they tend to change it's color from black to yellow after several years. Some use sharpies to ink in the black spots while other don't want to risk having they artwork destroyed in a few years, I suggest buying a art marker for inking in the black areas.
Which paper do you use for your (cool looking) manga. At the Moment I try to make my own manga but I only have copy paper. Is it better to have professional paper especially for manga or is copy paper good enough?
You have no idea how much you help me during my process of creating my current manga project ^-^ Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
no problem! thnx for subscribing!

Alfred Marquez Gaming
Isayama said that he doesen't know how to draw, he's a genius in his story, not like apple black
This is very helpful.

I am stuck with character design can you make an ultimate tip video on that ?
Very helpful video! Did I understand correctly that the G Pen is more suitable for shounen as in, doesn't lend itself for delicate lines?
Damn
Apple black
do a datebook too
When your doing the stuff on the computer, are you using the mouse? Or do you have a stylus and pad of some sort? During the lassoing and touch ups? That's always confused me when I watch tutorials like these, I've never gotten a definitive answer. Great vid, as usual!
I use a simple cheap bamboo wacom tablet.
I find this video so satisfying somehow !
bravo
Hi. Just wondering if you use a wacom drawing tablet and if so which one. Thanks :)
i love your art style your my idol.[i did my hw on you]

What size micron do you usually use for different things? like for details, or panel boarders?
this is awesome what type of school do you have to go to to become a manga artist. mangaka

So if you happen to not have a G-Pen would it be alright just to use any other art pen with a small point (ish) instead?
Ahhhh alright. Thank you~
Yes. You can use any other pen or technical pen you're comfortable with.
I use ¥100 "sign pens" from Seria for variable line widths
did you do that video on the scanning yet because i couldn't find it😅😁
anyone consider inking with a fountain pen rather than dip pens? I use fountain pens for inking rather than dip pens FYI.
Awesome, what device do you use for mangastudio?
I might be new to u and ur followers but I just want to know it's okay to ink ur manga with graphite but without a g-pen or any inking pen, anyways thx for the inking tips.
how long have you been makimg manga
Hi whyt manga,
I’m an aspiring Artist and I am doing a paper for school asking about criticisms in UA-cam communities I belong to. I was just curious what were the biggest criticisms that you got starting out.
When I ink, rather than one line, I do a sketchy back and forth line. Is that alright or do you think I should try to make one line instead?
That's a good technique but I think when you ink you should have clean lines not sketchy lines that's just my opinion though
pla do a background tutorial
i want to write a shonen manga but g-pens are too expensive and rare in india so can i use normal fountain/calligraphy pen?
If your manga will be anime I would definitely watch that.
how do you get the lines 100% black, my ink fades a little when i erase, and I don't know how to get tones under the line art.
Did you use mouse?
One question, what tablet do your use to ink in this video Mr. Whyt Manga?
hi dont know if I missed it but do you have any tips for using the g-pen? I can't seem to get the pressure right... I either press too hard or the lines come out too thin.
i have a question ... How are u gonna put text inside those bubbles
if anyone knows pls tell me
I put text in this video, ua-cam.com/video/0Irpxi3bkrs/v-deo.html
tnx :)
How to draw Faces or clothes
how did u manage to get good at drawing, im still not vary good at it so do u have any tips?
What ink do you use? Is it really black and fully waterproof?
Which video is it that goes into detail about the use of the G-pen??
The art of you manga is amazing and proffesional but you need to work on story becouse its not catchy.... with your art you might do something more "BANG" at the first few pages. Well, still love your artwork tho.
Do you have a link to the video on your scanning process? That takes 3mins or so?
What's your equip, Do you use mouse or touchpad for mangastudio or do you have this type of pad where you connect on compter?
i have watch you for quite some time now, let me say it to you right now as a comic critic. Your skill in penciling is not half bad, but your inking is still clumsy. G-pen vs micron video? i watched it, you haven't fully mastered the g-pen to suddenly compare it to a fine liner. Check your art, reread your first volume you'll see what im talkin about. Don't use a Damn sharpie -_-
***** sharpies are not permanent archival markers, they tend to change it's color from black to yellow after several years. Some use sharpies to ink in the black spots while other don't want to risk having they artwork destroyed in a few years, I suggest buying a art marker for inking in the black areas.
This g-pen you speak of where can I buy it?
It's available in any deleter store. Got mine from japan. There's also a Deleter store in the US i think.
Okay thanx. 😄
Where do you get your g-pens? Do you have a preferred brand? I've been too nervous to try using them for years.
Nevermind! I found the link on your G-Pen video. If anyone else is interested: www.japanimation.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=g-pen&x=-1230&y=-179
Which paper do you use for your (cool looking) manga. At the Moment I try to make my own manga but I only have copy paper. Is it better to have professional paper especially for manga or is copy paper good enough?
Drawings4You its B4 paper, watch this for more info ua-cam.com/video/mfLIRp30lrM/v-deo.html
Whyt Manga Thanks :)
Is it me or you have the same art style as tite kubo the author and artist of Bleach
And stop we good ok, we good?....we good.
But what u use to fill those dialogue bubbles
If you erased on Lines created by Microns, they always fade, are there problems when you scan and finish pages, thank you.
allow the microns dry a bit, sakura microns dry quick, at least the ones I have, I have no problems scanning and finishing pages. you're welcome.
How do you scan exactly ?
what did he use to fill in the black
your artwork looks like tite kubo's artwork..
naruto?
Which software is it ?
I'm so
Early to this
art style reminds me of Bleach
could you give me the email of your editor
what scanner do you use?
+Tyson Holliday Mustek A3 USB pro scanner.
