Kestrel pair
Relations between Apollo & Athena are often tense and as Athena lays her second egg of the season the strain between them is again apparent.
Kestrel egg
Moments after laying her second egg of the season, Athena hops to the nest entrance and begins calling loudly and repeatedly for Apollo.
Kestrel hunt
Apollo arrives looking flustered. He has a vole in his mouth but is so keen to take his turn on the eggs he initially forgets to pass it to Athena. Of course, Apollo could just be in a tearing rush to see the egg, but given the history between this pair I suspect he is also anxious to do as he's told.

This may sound corny but I watch you videos so much I come to feel like these birds are like part of my family like my cats and dogs are . Not just the kestrels, the owls etc all of the beautiful creatures you bring to us up close .

No - they are a different species. Lesser kestrels don't occur in the British Isles, except as occasional vagrants.

Apollo and Athena were half-siblings in Greek Mythology. And Athena never produced children. Interesting choice to name these Kestral parents after them.

Apollo and Athena are our resident pair at Ash Wood. We do think that Apollo has also been visiting Jenny over at Fotherdale but seems to have settled with Athena.
