  • There will be arguments. ***FYI, the order of the QB's in each tier is done alphabetically, it's not done by who I think is the best or worst. That was a tier is for, QB's who are relatively just as good as each other.***

      The NFL watered down the middle of the field and left the sidelines drier. This benefited wide receivers. And left no traction for the defense in the middle of the field to give Mahomes the advantage. This is in Arizona, where the field should have been dried. This is the most important game of the year. Why was a field in such s***** condition?

    Josh Allen does turn the ball over a bit much in the regular season, but in the playoffs he’s thrown the same amount of picks per game as Mahomes and holds the NFL record for most postseason yards per game with 346. The issue with that team is that the defense and run game completely disappears in the playoffs for some reason.

    • @aceassn716
      @aceassn716 8 місяців тому

      Thats true but he was awful vs Bengals at home.. that had 2starters in their secondary out
      He was awful when he couldnt afford to be
      The fact bills defense got bullied at home by a team we know has a suspect Oline, let alone missing 3 starters was the huge shock! Im a Buffalo blizzard nonetheless

    • @sprawlz6466
      @sprawlz6466 8 місяців тому +1

      @@aceassn716 he really wasn’t that bad against the Bengals. He had 290 yards and a touchdown. I mean that isn’t his best performance, but considering it was in a blizzard with a torn UCL with an O-line that couldn’t give him more than 1 second to throw to receivers who couldn’t get open, it’s far from a bad game. The problem was that Buffalo’s defense was nonexistent forcing only 2 punts and 0 turnovers all game. And Josh Allen was Buffalo’s leading rusher with 26 yards 😂. In my opinion the coaching job was the biggest offender. There was constant miscommunication, everyone seemed to be in terrible positions to make any type of play, and there were no adjustments all game. Allen was doing everything he possibly could. He would have to, and did a few times, make an absolutely crazy play just to give the offense a 10 yard gain.

      @CalebJohnston 8 місяців тому

      @@sprawlz6466I swear at this point you're his alt account. 😂🤣 dudes ucl wasn't torn. It was bruised in week 9. He was on the injury report for 2 weeks. Until week 12, then never listed again. After he failed in the postseason, like normal, he went on to immediately play in a golf tournament. Golf is ridiculously strenuous on the ucl, as in, you can't play with an even slightly sore ucl injury.
      Why did Allen alone have 4 turnovers against the dolphins? The 28th ranked defense in the NFL? Is that on the coach?

    • @sprawlz6466
      @sprawlz6466 8 місяців тому

      @@CalebJohnston A partially torn UCL is definitely not a bruise. I don’t think you’ve ever played golf. And you’re lying, Allen did not have 4 turnovers against Miami lol. He’s never turned the ball over in a close postseason game he lost. You’re such an idiot and aren’t worth losing brain cells over so I’m not having this conversation with you. Have a nice day

      @nuclearblast3061 8 місяців тому

      @@CalebJohnston They have had a top ranked defense in the regular season, which averages like 30+ points in the postseason. Far from Allen’s best playoff performance, where the defense again let him down. I was at the bengals game, and I could tell that there was just a gaping hole 5-8 yards off the line. That is coaching and the defense not doing its job

    OSU has never produced a great NFL QB because they’ve been “coddled”. One of the best O lines and incredible weapons every year produces a QB that hasn’t faced any adversity. Essentially the game is easy for them, but the NFL, even facing the worst team, isn’t easy.

    • @jjttdog
      @jjttdog 8 місяців тому +1

      They face the same adversity as any qb on a top five team in college, there are a lot of QBs who haven’t faced a lot of adversity and still pan out in the nfl. And there has only been like three osu QBs drafted in the first round in over 25 years.

    Love your channel Barry but I think you’re gonna come to regret putting Danny in the “scrubs” category. Watch his stats dramatically increase this year without having the worst (by far) WR corps in the league and Daboll opening up the playbook as a result of that. There’s a reason why the coach of the year and a great GM who both came from the same franchise signed and believe in him.

    • @thecrazynodak
      @thecrazynodak 8 місяців тому

      Yeah, because he had one good game against a terrible Vikings defense in the playoffs and then he crapped his pants against an actually good team the next week. He is thoroughly average, and it's laughable that some people believe that he's good. He and the Giants are going to regress super hard from their flukey season last year.

    • @lucasquattrocchi5947
      @lucasquattrocchi5947 8 місяців тому +2

      @@thecrazynodak that wasn’t his only good game plus as Barry always says, the NFL is a TEAM sport. To use the Philly loss is a terrible argument as their team as a whole is and was much further ahead than the Giants. U really think Daboll and Schoen being the guys that they r would sign Danny to that contract because of “one good game”? They had the worst WR corps in the league and couldn’t call the deep crossers that Daboll ran in Buffalo; Danny when he had a half decent offensive coach (Shurmur still sucked as a whole) threw 24 TDs in 12 games his rookie season which was on pace for the rookie record. Let’s see how this plays out but I think you’re gonna be pretty surprised.

    That Daniel Jones roast was incredible

  • @dluuxx
    @dluuxx 8 місяців тому +1

    Contesting the Mac Jones ranking, I think most of his issues were from Matt Patricia at play caller. My rationale is:
    1. A lot of passes ended up being short screens
    2. When Mac was hurt and Bailey Zappe came in, the playbook Zappe was given had mostly plays that Mac Jones ran the year before when the playcalling was more suited for him. Zappe, a below average backup, adjusted to it and won games as a result
    And yes I know you have the system qb agenda, but I think Mac much more fits into the system qb category. You're right about him having a below average arm, and his vision is sometimes suspect, but under the right system, like what he had in his rookie year, he'll do a lot better
    I don't think he's a scrub, but he does fall into that average/system qb tier. He still has time to develop into a solid starter imo, but you're right about this year being telling for the kind of player he's gonna be
    Edit: Alright nevermind he was fucking horrible

    He is the comeback king. That deserves more than "above average".
    Edit: for reference Rodgers holds 8 NFL records, Stafford has 18.
