The answer to all this is VERY,VERY SIMPLE -sell ALL the property in a public auction -then divide the money equally among the immediate families of the victims of this shitheads murdering rampage.
Not a bad idea at all.
what property? Manson was a scapegoat the truth is alot different to the judgement you made of him based on the mainstream narrative.
Read Chaos by Tom O'Neill or Nick's Schreck's Manson Files. You are far from the truth dude.
Chaos is good read but misdirection. MK-ultra is nonsense. Snuff film ring & hard narcotic operation. Bad stuff happens when you mix deviant sex, hard narcotics, videotape, & extortion.
This interview shows how Manson charmed the people in The Family.
I used to live in Kings County, and had a friend who was a correctional officer at Corcoran. He shared that they would rotate the COs who worked directly with Manson, in order to avoid having the COs by “brainwashed” by Manson. I always found that fascinating.
Lol morons
Thank you Scott for this interesting interview with Michael, and his story of his friendship with Manson. Thank you Troy for your wonderful editing skills.
6 degrees of Helter Skelter is very well done. I have it on DVD very interesting but sad piece of history. Thanks Scott
Very fascinating. As always, thanks for letting us tag along with you. It's much appreciated.
WOW!
What an incredible interview! Loved this...
By the way...
I would listen to the whole 5 hour chat.
Are you kidding? Michael is fascinating and sharing a side of Manson the public has never seen...
Simply fascinating.
Love love love you Scott! 💗
Never one boring moment...
always a fun ride and informative.
💪❤
This is great Scott! I understand that Troy had to cut the interview quite a bit, I bet that had to be tough. Great work! This gives another perspective of Manson I didn't expect and I liked listening to Michael talk about his friendship with him. I'm subscribed to Michael's channel.
Thanks Scott and Troy.
Fantastic interview!... I've got a lot of respect for Michael, He is a true friend, Charlie was a lucky man to have had such a lovely loyal man as his friend.. Thanks so much to both of you, I really enjoyed your chat :)
Absolutely adore Michael and proud to call him a friend.
Another great vid Scott and Troy. Thanks for documenting these stories.
Enjoy your Manson history vids. Please keep doing them.
I thought that it was proven that Matthew wasn't Mansons real son
You're just the best at all of this,my friend! Thank you
Thank you so much for the video and interview!!!! Definitely apart of history.
Oh let me add...
Thank you Troy! And Michael, you are a good Man...hope one day you write a book regarding this journey with Manson.
Wow. This video is from today, even here in Germany 🙏😃 Thanks for posting it so quick, Scott ❤️🤗 ! 😂👍 Your friend made me laugh out loud when he told me how practical he chose Mason. I love how you both make such respectful videos - which also involve humor and humanity ❤️🤗🙏😃. They are so realistic. Gonna finish the video now ...
This was great! Thanks Scott, you rock!
That was very interesting, I'm sorry Michael lost his friend. He seems like a really nice guy, I could have listened for 5 hrs. Good job Scott
Scott, you are compiling an oral and video history of the darker side of L.A. and California. Your work is a valuable source for fellow historians. We thank you.
QUESTION: Did Manson actually have much of an estate to bequeath to heirs? If so, where did he get it? How much was it worth? Did he have life insurance? He was destitute when he was imprisoned following the 1969 murders, and he never saw freedom again.
I could be wrong but I think licensing would come under the estate and might be worth something. That’s all I can think of that would be of “value”.
Scott, this is a fantastic interview! Michael seems genuine and I appreciated learning more about him and even Charles Manson. I didn't know he had a son and a daughter. Michael did something nice for someone that probably did not have any real friends. Scott, you always have the best interviews.
Thank you Scott for posting this
Absolutely amazing video Scott. Thank you 🙏💜
Fantastic video, just found everything Michael was saying totally interesting and I enjoyed every detail, good for him,he's not hurting anyone and I hope he gets the result in the end. Keep these videos coming please, cheers Scott and Troy.
Mike sent me Charlie's autograph for my birthday a good ten or so years ago. I consider him my friend all the way over the big pond. A real great guy with time for anyone. A fantastic interview! Been following Scott for a long time - I love seeing this pair together!
Michael seems like a good guy. Looking out for another human being. Manson was responsible for the premature deaths of innocent people and I just can't get over that. Michael is the saint I could never be. God Bless him.
Interesting interview...Thanks for sharing this...I really enjoyed it!!!!
What an interesting guy. I love the story of meeting Sirhan Sirhan when the air con was off!
Absolutely fascinating, Scott. Sort of a "My Dinner with Andre" for Death Hags!
This is a fascinating interview. Very, very well done.
Sure would like to hear the entire interview. (All five hours) This was so interesting!
Scott this is very interesting to say the least. Thanks for another great video.
What a great video I really enjoyed it , I was glued to the screen, you both could have gone on for hours and I would have been with you 😊
Thank you!! Maybe post all 5 hours sometime? Where were you driving this whole time?!?
I'm Thankful for You Scott and Troy Happy Thanksgiving 🎆
That was awesome. Great one!
Very good interview puts Michael in a whole new light I kinda thought he was in this for the money before but I’ve had to rethink so that’s a good thing thanks Scott and Michael
Great interview. I could honestly listen for the whole five hours. Michael is an outstanding human being with compassion.
Michael seems like a sincere and caring guy. No mater what, we need to respect the dead and bury/lay their ashes, where they requested. Michael was a true friend.
Just incredible. Best work ever.
Scott...Thank you for bringing us this interesting interview of someone who probably knew more about Manson than anyone else. Although I detest everything Manson did, I don't understand how anyone would look upon Manson as a friend. Yet his insight into a man who was complex, devious and disturbing gave us a view that no one else could have.
Love your videos & podcasts
Amazing interview. 👍🏻
Awesome, Scott.❤️
Michael really seems like genuine good guy and really Charles Manson's only true friends
Just because he was small doesn’t mean you can’t murder someone. There’s been plenty of mass murderers that were really small men. Manson still got to live his life until old age but his victims didn’t, it would be hard for anyone to forgive him
@@williemays2 exactly. 😆
Those victims belong to Tex, and the girls. Charlie was a patsy
Uuhmmm...there's no record of him killing anyone, nor was he present during any of the murders.
@Alekas_Attic But he was a Psychopath and he absolutely manipulated and fed drugs to people that did it for him. He isn't innocent.
@@janetphillips2875 Girl he's the mastermind behind it all. He didn't get a life sentence for nothing. Your saying that as if he's innocent lol. 😅😅😅
I enjoyed this video very much I’m dieing to watch more in the future .
It's important to record history and you do an amazing job !
I’m not a fan of Charlie or “the family.” However, Michael Channels befriended him as a human being. I believe they were friends- probably the only true friend Manson ever had. Channels seems to be an honest, caring person who only wanted his friend to be treated with dignity when he died.
You look great Scott! I love your interviews!
I appreciate your utubes blessings and love
I've subbed to Michaels Back Porch. Thanks!
5yrs ago not 4. Channels deserves it all out of all of them he was the realest with manson and the most honest!
Michael was Cool about talking about Charlie and I enjoyed Michael sharing his thoughts, conversations, his attitude, and all this coming from his Heart & Soul, about His Friend, Charles Manson. I am 65 yrs of age and come from Central USA, and every time I heard of Charlie I would get scared to death, and when his Parole Up I would be terrified Charlie would some how get released. But Michael made Charlie seem more personable and a real human being with feeling and thoughts that were not all Deceitful and Monstrous. I learned to hear about him without being scared to death. God Placed u in Charlie’s life for that reason and u were his true friend but visiting him and caring for his personal needs. So for that and educating SIMPLE MINDED PEOPLE LIKE ME. AND SHARING WITH ME AND THE WORLD, THANK U. MAY God Bless u. God Bless Charles Soul and May He Rest In Peace. WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE CHARLIE? May God Forgive Me.
Yeah, Michael is a sweet soul, and Manson was a grandiose Narcissist and a Psychopath who by nature is extremely manipulative and a compulsive liar. I don't care how personable he "seemed', a tiger with a personality disorder doesn't change it's stripes it just gets better at camouflage. I'm sure Michael showed him moments of his own humanity he hadn't seen for years, but there were so many signs of his Narcissism.
1. His one upmanship.
2. His grandiose plans.
3. His manipulation of everyone in his environment.
4. His low self esteem.
Etc etc
I Always enjoy seeing your icon when youtube pops up its Always the best .
I really enjoyed watching this video, Scott. In my personal opinion is that individual(s) must take responsibility and hold themselves accountable for their actions…..”positive and/or negative consequences”. Everyone is different; there are so many factors which will influence a individual…..it varies.
Scott Michaels, you could be a voice actor. I think he has an interesting voice. Also, I love your videos and another person I really love is Bridget Marquardt. You both have podcasts about morbid kind of things and I think you both working together and making some kind of content would be cool! I would love it
I can’t believe that Manson had much of anything to leave in a will .
Good one Scott!
Excellent scott ❤❤
I absolutely LOVED dark tourist!!! If y'all aint seen it its fantastic
I am sorry but Charles Manson makes my skin
crawl. No thanks!
Crazy about the Beatle t-shirt... that photoshoot of them crossing Abbey Road was taken the same day as the Cielo Drive tragedy maybe even the same moment, on accounting for time zone differences, and the close proximity of the killings to the devil's witching hour of midnite, but I'm sure youz guys already knew
Michael is an interesting character indeed. Funny how something as benign as searching for an autograph developed into a driven persistence and ultimately an unlikely friendship. Great interview.
Happy Thanksgiving to y’all ❤️🦃
This is gold. Such a great interview.
Geeze this guy can have the body, as far as Manson's 'estate' likeness etc.. worth in the neighborhood of $1million or more - that should go to relatives of the victims, Shorty Shea, Ms. Folger, the LaBiancas (minus Susan who thinks Tex should be released); Sharon's relatives, Gary Hinman's relatives, Vorcheck's relatives. As far as the storage locker of 'manson's shit" goes that should for FREE to Scott for his museum (if he even wants it - Scott; like me, is all about the Victims not the killers).
I just saw you on haunted history on Hulu!
Ohhhh, I'm off to watch that after this!
It's nice to ride with you two guys, this is the best road trip interviews that the both of you have done. I had no interest in Manson because I read the first edition of Helter Skelter and that was that. Years later I read it again. A few things were questionable, that Michael's Back Porch videos pointed out.
You Guy's should have got together before this, glad you did though.
Fascinating.
Law (Fed) the last place Manson lived Unincarcerated Free Man, in which He would have Received Mail at a Physical Address Delivered by the U.S. Postal Service. And Or
as Registry on Last Census.
This is very cool Scott. Tomorrow is my 40th birthday November 20th. Probably seen your documentary 6 degrees of Helter Skelter 2 dozen times.
Happy Birthday !
Happy Birthday, Joshua. I hope that you have a fantastic day. 🎂
Hey Scott…Hamtramck/Detroit misses you! Please reach out next time you’re in town. Love, Laura
Your bloody good for 60 mate. Love your work.
Great interview Scott. I’m glad Manson had this guy as a friend. He seems to be an all round nice guy. I started reading Tex Watsons book after you mentioned it in one of your videos. Your very right it is fascinating to read his words. Thank you. I hope you and Troy have a great Thanksgiving. 🦃
Michael seems like a genuine good dude ,who doesn’t just see the one side of someone but the different sides of a person .Nobody should be stuck in a fridge for months nobody deserves that .
what is manson's estate wouldn't of thought he had a thing
WOW....thank y Scott....his life history after in prison is interesting 🤔🤔🇺🇸🦋
I was intrigued by this video. I'm from an area in WV that Manson once resided in . Things were found in the house he lived in. I've always found Manson intriguing. He was actually a very intelligent person. I've searched for & found some of his musical recordings & he did have some talent. Some of the lyrics might be considered mumbo jumbo. You have to listen to them. If I remember my information correctly, a couple of his songs were "stolen," one of them by the Beach Boys.
Great interview! What was the doc you did with Mansons son for the BBC you mentioned?
Hey Scott am glade this you visit Bakersfield home of merle Haggard buck owens come back anytime and love you video by the way 😊
I just subscribed Michael's back porch tapes
What a great guy!
Hi Scott!
I have always had a strange feeling about "The Manson Family", they openly admit he was intertwined with all the Laurel Canyon set, many of those artists were creations of Intelligence at Lookout Mountain. I believe that much of it was a PsyOp. You can hate me or bad mouth me but, there is a lot of information regarding Operation Chaos and it's too strong to overlook IMO.
Super interesting! Thank you Scott. Matthew Roberts I believe is related, not the “grandson”. What do you think?
Personally I don’t but who knows?
@Lady of The Lamps..I saw an interview with Matthew..he is a mirror image of Charlie. He explained that something went wrong with the DNA tests...lets face it, it's happened before, so not an outrageous claim. I believe Matthew is Charlies son. I don't think this other dude is related what so ever.
Zak Baggins is such a kook. You can't trust, or believe, anything he says, does, or who he supports. Sweet interview, Scoot.
I was shocked when Charles Manson died at Bakersfield where I used to lived there but I didn’t know who he was before I did my research about this guy for what he did back in the 60s of Sharon Tate’s murder and the whole story.
Does that restaurant make green chili burritos? Let me know. Ty❣️
Why would someone want to be friends with Charles Manson? What kind of an estate would a person who spent most of his life in prison?
Watch it and you could find out. From the start he explains how it came about. You might find it interesting
Add part 2. Interesting
Michael Channels is a awesome Guy 👍👍😎
20:17 Elvis has left the building
Me and Michael have something in common that is extremely rare.
michael is a very cool dude
I've often wondered why Manson was allowed to have a beard in prison longer than the acceptable length.
When California abolished beards in the prison system in 1992, why was he still allowed to wear one?
Weird things are afoot at the circle k.
Hide the coffee from this guy.
if it's a 'bag of curses' why is he fighting so hard for it? Ever notice that the people who scream the loudest and hardest that 'They're NOT about the money" are ALL about the money.
Ah, to bask in the reflected glow of infamy!
Great interview man!! RIP CHARLIE!!
Is it just me or why would anyone want to tell people they are charles mansons best friend? So jason freeman never submitted DNA?
Because I asked? Also no, Freeman has not. Thanks for watching.
@@DearlyDepartedTours he was always griping about how he was his grandson and entitled to everything. You would think he would want to prove it wouldn't you? Do you think Freeman is really only after the $$$?
Another great video Scott. My oldest son is a Manson fan.🤷🏻♀️ Michael is a true friend, I wish I had a friend like him. BTW , tell him hi from us and we don’t like snakes either😂
Only ONE person that is LEGALLY tied to MANSON and that would be the sister his mom Kathleen adopted at 6 months old, She sent in her LEGAL documentation to the CA courts. I just have to sit back and smh... liars and frauds. Yall will see in the end!!
they checked that dudes dna and he wasn't related to manson at all. people forget about that? I'm so confused.
Matthew Roberts had his DNA checked but never Jason Freeman. Freeman refuses to take the DNA test.
