Blood Bank- Antibody Panel Overview

In this video I go over the basics of an antibody panel. I don't actually set one up but the process is the same as antibody screens (just with more cells). There really is a lot involved when performing a panel so this video just breaks the ice. Thanks for watching.

You should do some urinalysis microscopic or a manual diff.

what if the whole is section is 0, does it mean that no antibodies were found? does it mean it's an o? do we have to rely on the enzyme test?

In the Lewis b antibody there is 3 positive & 3 negative, why wouldn't be that one?
