She lowered the key on this aria to accommodate her voice. It's the hardest aria of all of Mozart's compositions. She still did great. I doubt any pop stars local & abroad can sing this even if they lowered the key... Such a versatile singer...

I'm not pretending to say it's good but i enjoyed watching it and that's a good thing for me. Good for people who simply appreciates music in general like me, coz this was valentines quadro concert that happened to have single numbers. And this is not for a perfectionist spelling bee competition or not even close to a musical school perfection class. People who watches this weren't forced to buy their tickets to see them and be criticized but simply to have a great time on that day. Same goes for those who watches and finishes this video. So pls, save your right notes and words to the music school and universities for linguists. Thanks.

John Francis it is sarcasm. it is a joke because filipinos find this amazing when it is not. we are not exposed to opera that's why anyone who screams or squeaks the note is good. she has lots of flats here. lani misalucha is one of the greatest singers in the country but she did one of the most difficult pieces in opera. it requires massive training to master staccato used in here. it was a good try but it wasn't near great.
Hi wredgefunky, Can you give specific note in every measure in a musical score/piece where she had "many" flats? Are you familiar with the different types of sopranos and or it's classifications? I hope so, you can't classify this into a joke performance for the reason that her performance is different way and or the deliverance of her vocal performance (though it's not hundred percent perfect) has unique interpretation. As I carefully comprehensively search of this musical piece, excerpt from musical play it doesn't show "many flats", and Filipinos specifically know this type of genre actually, that's why she's preferred by elites and middle society and other type of society because of her remarkable voice and unique way of performing , and this is actually one of her remarkable performance and she even sang this with world acclaimed choir in the Philippines. Considering as you said that it requires a "massive training" to master staccato used in this genre (yes you have on focal point) but still she did a good job. "just appreciate her". She said one of her concerts that she grew up with classical music because of her parents especially her Dad and influenced by them. And if you noticed the metronome used is different from the usual arrangement.
