Context about the unicorn horn thing: in the concept arts of the show, pomni had a unicorn horn. If you look up, there is even a comic made by Goose herself with pomni on her beta design.
To connect the dots with the training video bit where gangle talks about being a comic artist, that was her initial dream in the real world too before losing that dream when she became a shift manager. You noticed her doodling in an anime style around the end which correlates to the ‘manga-inspired webcomic’ that she mentioned in the training video before disregarding it.
34:10 i dont think Caine is abstracting, but recently i read a theory that explains that the circus was in beta testing, and wanst supposed to have players 24/7, and thats affecting caine, since he has to keep them inside the circus, and run all the programs without rest, and every adventure he tries to add more things, better IA in the NPC, etc, so maybe he's reaching a hardware limit, like he needs for the whole computer to have a restart, but it isn't possible with the players inside.
Maybe Caine's instability is a clue as to why people abstract in the first place, because maybe the system is running out of memory and needs to flush memory somewhere from time to time in order to prevent itself from crashing, which, in addition to the Circus running 24/7, could also be because maybe the Circus is meant to only have 4 players at a time (it looks rather old-school in design, after all) Maybe players are enormously taxing for the system, and when someone is reaching their breaking point in their mental health, their code is the least stable and ends up being the path of least resistance, and they end up having their identity, model, memories, etc. deleted to make room for another player when one arrives Though, as Caine says, he has no control over their minds, so, in this mini-theory of mine, maybe the abstracted people don't know who they are or remember anything and can no longer make new memories, but are still conscious enough to feel basic emotions, like Kaufmo's rage at people not laughing at his jokes or Queenie's affection for Kinger, and even if they can't remember why they feel that way and have no mouths to speak with, they still act accordingly
22:19 Literally the most direct Raggedy Ann and Andy reference this show has made so far. This is almost word-for-word from a line in the song “No Girl’s Toy.” 😂

Idk, from what we know about abstraction, it happens from being obsessed with an exit. I feel like Gangle was disassociating, which feels like the opposite of obsession. Something that constantly occupies your thoughts vs being completely disconnected from your thoughts
@@SevenQs I think it isn't "being obsessed with an exit", but rather going insane, usually from being obsessed with trying to find an exit. Kinger's insane, but probably not in a way that causes abstraction.
Since we don't know when the suggestion box was installed, the fast food idea could've come from an abstracted circus member and we'd never know, after all the box is literally overflowing, idk if our cast would have enough ideas to do that on their own even if we include Pomni who didn't know it existed.
It's funny how a lot of people think Gangle came up with the suggestion when all she said was that she wanted a "normal adventure". For all we know, it could've been Ragatha who wrote it.

The new mask is literally just masking her depression and not helping deal with it, sending her manic followed by crashes. She went from depression to bipolar.
i don't know if you know this, but Gangle goes by she/her pronouns, and Zooble is the one who goes by them/them. I think you might have mixed the two up lol

The fact that you refer to Zooble, who's unsure of their gender identity and has body dysphoria, as she while referring to Gangle, who's confirmed to identify as a woman, as they is, well, mildly surprising.
It both is and isn't surprising. As someone who is non-binary with gender dysphoria, it's actually a pretty common phenomena to have people refer to you with very gendered terms, while using gender neutral terms for someone else lmao

21:46 this is very accurate. I worked in a fast food store for about a year and a half minimum (actual cant remember heavily repressed) and it felt like four years. It was a bad store constantly losing employees and id always get called in because I was a reliable pushover. Open to close six days a week. Near the end i started lying about drinking on my days off so i would actual have days off.
Here's some things I found interesting. So first off, it is confirmed that the characters in TADC still remember their past lives, just not their real names. So Gangle saying she was a shift manager means that not everyone in there may have been developers of this digital world. Also, at 33:07 you can see on Caine's computer screen the letters "C A". The same logo that was shown in the first episode when Pomie stepped into a digital version of the real world offices. One more thing, and this is only a theory of my... maybe the reason why Gummy Goo doesn't remember Pomie isn't because of a memory wipe, but because he's a different version. Remember in the second episode when he fell out of the map? He saw his brothers and a copy of himself frozen, what if Caine brought in the copy for this adventure and not the original?
7:26 It's not that life is horrible persay. The fast food is familiar. It's "normal." Gangle is Manic-Depressive, and working fast food is likely how they used to stabilize. The breakdown in episode is a manic event, culminating in a depressive crash in which Gangle symbolically throws off the mania to experience what is sometimes called "suicidal relief." Suicidal individuals who reach this point have decided to go through with it and feel euphoria, like how Gangle bolted and smiled while crying. It's this phase in which a suicidal individual commonly gives away items, removing attachments and paying debts owed, like how Gangle tossed her mask. The truck was suicide, and the horror on her face before and after is the regret. When you feel that rope, there is sometimes relief, but it will always come with regret. You are enough. You are able. Your pain is shared and we hold it up easier when we lock arms together. Don't give up, please. Take it from someone who, I swear to you on my own life, understands. 💜
I might be wrong but my theory in the Caine glitching is bc he called himself their boss, "I'm such a good boss" no, he can't say that, he's not being created for that and he may have something in his program that does not allows him to "feel" superior to them. As he said at the beggining, he's there to "make them happy", as they are humans, he have to beheave. Idk that's just what I think but honestly it could be anything
Those cracking sounds... it's a perfect metaphor that even with a stronger mask, Gangle has a hard time keeping it together. Just like Kinger being more enlightened when kept in the dark, this show got some really emotional ironies.
I feel like episode 5 is going to start with something glitching related. The last time we see Caine in this episode, he’s absolutely freaking out, glitching all over the place, so what if in the next episode, the team doesn’t get a daily adventure because Caine has lost it, and they have to find out where he is and what happened to him, all while avoiding Circus glitches and breakdowns. Or maybe, they get sent on their daily adventure, and as Caine waits for them to come back, he glitches even worse, and the adventure starts to break down with the team still in it.
I have never worked in fast food but I fully understand the stresses of the situation due to other experiences. So whenever I go to Fast Food places I do as little as possible and leaves after having cleaned my place.
Fact to ruin your day: Gloinks reproduce by the queen eating things. Literally every burguer the queen ate turned into a gloink on the other side As shown in the first ep
that seems to be the pattern with these episodes. each one focuses on a character and makes me care about them. the only exception is caine and jax because you can't make me not immediately like those guys
I’m sorry if you’ve already explained this but…where is your reaction to the newest Helluva Boss episode? That said, this episode is great and really develops a lot of the characters that needed it, especially Gangle and Zooble.
22:29 Wait I just realised. Dancing lessons? Backstory? 30:18 btw the clock was replaced becose previous one was browken xD 32:46 was thay your wall? No its your screen... windows 11?
27:08 because it seemed better than whatever they’d been doing before? It sucked, sure, but compared to whatever she’d been experiencing before Pomni arrived, it was probably better
It's possible that the characters ARE dead, given that both Kinger and Gangle's episodes so far have included parallels to them and potential causes of death.
Knowing that Ragatha isn’t a genuine nice person, and Gangle secretly hoping someone can break her comedy mask every time she wears one, it makes me think that Jax’s action isn’t that bad but more like good interactions base on his understanding on everyone’s nature. I also like the comparison between Ragatha and Zooble. Ragatha just doesn’t want to be hated. But Zooble shows true empathy and understanding towards others, even to Cane. I am, too, very excited for next episode which will probably focus more on Ragatha, Jax or Zooble’s story.
That is a lot of pushing your own ideals in. Sorry...she isn't a nice person? Stop right there, nice caring people get annoyed and feel angry at others, but moves past it or know it is not right to feel. Also Ragatha does show true empathy too, or a more human empathy. Some could say Zooble is selfish or self centered, as you say Ragatha is not genuine or as others say, a people pleaser. Yes Zooble was more of a help to Ganger, that is true...but Ragatha is just as much and arguably a more control nonstop help, like say a blanket in a cold day. Sometimes to truly help, a blanket isn't enough or you are afraid of it not helping enough, so you try to find something more secure. Both Zooble and Ragatha want the best for Ganger and want to help them.
@@jjmara01 Lol chill buddy, I did not say Ragatha is not a nice person. She is not honest and genuinely nice, that’s all. Her nonstop help is not as helpful than a few words from people like Zooble and Kinger. Ponmi did not feel helped until she received effective mental support from Kinger and realized that she should appreciate Ragatha’s effort. Ragatha’s helpfulness was cool and all but not spiritually effective to any character in the show so far. She is likable but not helpful, there are people won’t consider this as nice. It is the show that questioned her kindness, not me.
@@tsnightmare7097 Yes, perhaps that’s why people like Jax and Gangle would listen to Zooble more than Ragatha. While Ponmi, who is awkward but social, would appreciates Ragatha’s effort.
I've heard you calling gangle by they/them pronouns, which is respectable, but I'm fairly certain gangle's gender was confirmed to be female, juuust a heads up, just like how zooble is confirmed (many times) to be they/them, as even zooble doesn't know what gender they are)
So, I've worked in fast food, but at a subplace. So, I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to commentate. But, from what I can gadge, this seems about actually. They are definitely just below average, despite Caine putting them slightly above average in scores. Also, hoping for kingerside quest. Howdoesbull?
I have liked your reactions because you pause and try to analyze stuff in the backgrounds, and yet your memory makes you forget crucial details about the show, like you saying last episode they can't remember their past when they can, or this episode asking again if they can feel pain which they can't, I don't know is like watching someone catching more stuff then normal and yet knowing less than it
Damn... and I thought I had repression from my time in retail. You legitimately refused to even say it by name at the start, what in the hells did they do to you??
Gangle: She/Her Zooble: They/Them I feel like Gangle is Depressed becouse she was pushed into this "normal" job by her Family and desperatly trys to be "normal" becouse let's be honest, we all feelt at one point that that is the only way to live a happy Life. (Which is BS, beeing yourself is the only way. Everybody else can stuff it) Also the Mask could be an alegory for Medication.
Vista wasn't that bad. Windows 7 was peak windows. 10 is horrible. 11 makes me want to abstract myself. At least none of that matters to me anymore since I switched to Linux (Ubuntu).
Gangle is almost as bad as Randy from South Park when he owned a Block-Buster Video ( and financially tanked it) or when he got into cooking when he and Sharon were having bedroom issues.

I like that you theorized that Caine was gonna abstract but missed that gangle was about to abstract
26:20 It's called the *service industry*
19:46 THERE ARE NO FACES
THERE ARE NO FACES
THERE ARE NO FACES
THERE ARE NO FACES
THERE ARE NO FACES
19:18 don't look now but Zooble's VA has her own animation coming up.
Pretty sure I saw his eye twitch at the “time to lean time to clean” and I don’t blame him, at all
Former fast food employee of 7 years......This episode had so much PTSD!!!!! Oh, also I'm pretty sure Cain's a Final Boss in Denial.
If your interested, Monkey Wrench ep 4 just dropped, and it's a real emotional one.
Ragatha at one point is quoting a song from the Raggedy Ann movie.
Fact to ruin your day:
Gloinks reproduce by the queen eating things.
Literally every burguer the queen ate turned into a gloink on the other side
As shown in the first ep
Yooo I'm first. And i also love this episode. I didn't care for gangle before this episode and now she's top 3
that seems to be the pattern with these episodes. each one focuses on a character and makes me care about them. the only exception is caine and jax because you can't make me not immediately like those guys
Man, this episode was a bit too real. Guess it's a good thing I don't even bother putting up a fake smile, and just have resting-Frisk-face!
I'm having flashbacks to when I worked at McDonalds. That was not a good 6 months in my life. I was so happy to leave that job.
I’m sorry if you’ve already explained this but…where is your reaction to the newest Helluva Boss episode? That said, this episode is great and really develops a lot of the characters that needed it, especially Gangle and Zooble.
Did it live on Friday, but it was struck down on UA-cam. The regular, not live version, goes out later this week.
@@Airier Ah, fair enough. Thanks for the reply.
27:41 Yup..
22:29 Wait I just realised. Dancing lessons? Backstory?
30:18 btw the clock was replaced becose previous one was browken xD
32:46 was thay your wall? No its your screen... windows 11?
Am I the only one who can't stop looking at the white spot on Airier's beard?
Jax deserves it
Karma has caught up to him now
28:02 they say hell is other people
27:08 because it seemed better than whatever they’d been doing before? It sucked, sure, but compared to whatever she’d been experiencing before Pomni arrived, it was probably better
20:40
umm... no?
I would say Gooseworks has been absurdly successful in what she is doing now
17:44 why is my jar of pickles unavailable?
My boi got that PTSD from working in a restaurant chain
I believe the next episode will focus on Ragatha, so that's going to be fun.
31:27 Nice desktop background
It's possible that the characters ARE dead, given that both Kinger and Gangle's episodes so far have included parallels to them and potential causes of death.
I'm like, 70% sure gangle was close to abstracting if pomni hadn't said anything and distracted her before gangle left, is it just me?
Gangle is really cute❤❤
We must protect her at all costs..
I honestly thing that zooble is like a brutally honest person , both in what she likes and what she dislikes while Ragatha is the opposite
You think VISTA was bad... try 8...
I have liked your reactions because you pause and try to analyze stuff in the backgrounds, and yet your memory makes you forget crucial details about the show, like you saying last episode they can't remember their past when they can, or this episode asking again if they can feel pain which they can't, I don't know is like watching someone catching more stuff then normal and yet knowing less than it
Imo is more on the high spectrum than drunk
I dont think Gangle was a monster for threatening Jax with punishment; he has been going unchecked for a while now
15:38 I believe the answer to that is yes.
Damn... and I thought I had repression from my time in retail. You legitimately refused to even say it by name at the start, what in the hells did they do to you??
Do you plan on ever continuing the monkey wrench reactions? Episode 4 dropped and it’s awesome!
Relax, Caine can’t abstract, only real people can
quick question: what rezolution do you export your video in? looks cinematic :)
To be honest episode three was the best
No it gangle back story
Awesome episode.
Why haven't you reacted to the latest "Helluva Boss" episode yet?
Was REALLY sick for almost three weeks. Just saw the episode yesterday. Should come out later this week.
Did nobody noticed the Matpat Easter egg?
I won't spoil for those who wants to find it on their own but if you want, here's a time stamp:
4:48
32:46 umm that's a wierd wallpaper 😶
Not a wallpaper its a screen. You can see icons on it. I think its Windows 11
Gangle: She/Her
Zooble: They/Them
I feel like Gangle is Depressed becouse she was pushed into this "normal" job by her Family and desperatly trys to be "normal" becouse let's be honest, we all feelt at one point that that is the only way to live a happy Life. (Which is BS, beeing yourself is the only way. Everybody else can stuff it)
Also the Mask could be an alegory for Medication.
How did he not realize that was gangles backstory
4:26 yo btw zooble is they/them not she just wanted to clarify that
Also at 6:00 you said they for gangle who’s she/her so you kind got zooble and gangles pronouns mixed up lol
just a note, Zooble goes by They/Them!
Could you react to bfdi
Vista wasn't that bad. Windows 7 was peak windows. 10 is horrible. 11 makes me want to abstract myself. At least none of that matters to me anymore since I switched to Linux (Ubuntu).
Gangle is almost as bad as Randy from South Park when he owned a Block-Buster Video ( and financially tanked it) or when he got into cooking when he and Sharon were having bedroom issues.
