@@VixxKong2 There is enough food to allow everyone or at least the vast majority of people to survive if they take daily turns. Instead of 100 people with full bellies and 566 having to resort to cannibalism or straight up starve you would have let'd say ~600 hungry but living people.
Count the dishes at level 0. I don’t know how many are on there, but it doesn’t look like 666 to me, 1 for each prisoners choice. Maybe they don’t include every prisoners choice every day, just vary it up maybe every day or week, till all get used. I mean, we see the snails Goreng chose only once at level 33. I don't think they were on the table any other time that we saw, even at level 6.
Thats it! All foods on the platform can't feed all 666 people, so the chefs have to shuffle the food. Everybody just have to wait their favorite food and eat it. Let say their favorite foods would come once in 3 days, that means everybody just have to wait 2 days without eating. Just 2 days, no one will die (I mean, Terimagasi still alive even doesn't eat for a week, isn't?)
There absolutely clearly is not enough food for 666 people. Everyone who keeps claiming that "if everyone just ate their share, everyone would survive" is delusional. There is simply not enough food on the platform either way and it is 100% intentional. It is kind of a safety button for the administration to show everyone that even if they try to fight the system, the people all the way down will die regardless - so you might as well eat what you want.
from the movie we can understand that food ends at level 100 if there are 300 levels on the first day from level 1 to 100 eat on the second day from 101 to 200 seems pretty logical to me and seeing that human beings survive 1 month without food and if we go Deeper in this thought let's imagine that people start food based on their nutrient like protein and vitamin and since on the platform there was no food left over from the meaningless consumption of food and the lack of consideration for people at lower levels people at higher levels piss and jump on food the goreng himself (at the beginning of the movie) spat food back on the table
@@kimora2756 the logic is the same on the day from level 1 to 50 from 50 to 100 and we also have to say that the food ends up at level 50 because at level 20 the food was already fucked up by people's lack of empathy
I practiced a lot to master speed with excellence while working on a fast food chain, only to witness the other day, a couple of teenagers playing with and throwing their food.
Yall are saying eat your own food, but you try and eat the same thing for months at a time, your crap would be watery as hell (or hard idfk I forgot what my science teacher said) and you would get sick of it. But again maybe the prison would've worked better that by the end of each month, as their changing the cell mates, they should also change the food. Idk that's my personal opinion but the way they have it makes it a good movie to be fair to em :)
Every prisoner knew what the hole was but the choosed stuppid food not smart food. Walnuts was smart choose. Because it takes time to peel them or break them.
What would you bring with you? For me...my AR rifle. It has a mag capacity of 30 rounds. I’ll gladly eat with anyone on the upper levels. Lower, it only takes one round on my cell mate and I can target anyone above me looking over the edge to lower the amount of mouths feeding above me, giving me more of a chance to have food on my platform. If I’m on a super low level I’ll wait it out until I can’t take it any longer then boom...I’ll end the movie and switch over to Family Guy.
That kinda depends on them counting a Ar Rifle and it's ammo as one weapon or not. Which seems like not the case since people had to opt for bludgeoning weapons in the movie.
Except some of them don't eat for a day and eat for the next day. Maybe people in odd levels don't eat for today, vice versa with people in even levels Another alternative : today, people in level 1-111 eat the food, next day people in level 112-222 will eat the food, then people in level 223-333.
They have one minute each day to eat the food. Depending on what level u are, u might not get any. Every month they change what level/stage they are. There are 333 levels/stages. With two inmates in each one- 666 in total. so basically some people have Aden anything in a whole month so they are starving… Or they want to fulfill themselves since they eat one everyday for a minute??..
THE MESSAGE OF THIS MOVIE IS THE RICH ARE ON TOP THEY DONT NEED TO WORRY ON WHAT TO EAT AND ARE GREEDY BUT THE POOR ON THE BOTTOM DOESN'T HAVE A CHOICE BUT TO EAT THE LEFTOVERS OF THE RICH.
I get the meataphore. But lets not forget. Even top prisoners eat only once a day, 2 minutes without any utensils. No idea, which floor will be next month. Who would eat civilised under those circumstances? BTW 333 floors means always at least 33 pairs staying under 100th for three months in a row. No way to survive that.
@@higorss Not possible. The movie doesn’t work like that. You get asked “what’s your favorite food” you can’t reply with “100kg of (insert meal here ___________ ) unfortunately. And there are greedy cannibals who will eat all your food and you whilst they are it!!
My take is: The prison or the Pit represents our society (duh). Those on top gorge on everything and leave little to nothing for those at the bottom, resorting to cannibalism and other dark and gruesome things. One thing I noticed, is through each month, either they end up on a good level, and the next they end up on a lower one. The only time someone gets sent up is when they actually resort to killing which I think represents how some people who started at the bottom were forced to do dark things and get their hands dirty just to be on top or end up rich. Goreng represents an individual with a bright mind but with little to no knowledge of what’s actually happening unless he experienced it himself. Trimagasi represents selfishness and contentedness and doesn’t wanna change the way the system is even though he clearly sees what’s wrong. Imougiri represents those who worked under the Administration believing they’re helping people but in truth are pawns of what’s happening and are blinded by thinking they’re doing good and are given false information since she only knows there were no more than 200 levels on the platform, and killed herself when she found herself on level 202. Miharu represented mothers or parents who are willing to do anything to protect and nurture their young from a world so cruel to the point she puts her life on the line. People who believed the child doesn’t exist represents those who were fed by fake news and choose to ignore or see that someone below them is really suffering or refusing to believe they suffer that severely. The child represents the youth or those who are trapped in the bottom who haven’t gone up just because they refuse to get their hands dirty and suffer from the greed of those above, therefore if she was brought to the top or if she was shown to them, then they’d understand and change their ways. She also represents the younger generations who experience the way of the world and bear the message. However, the sad thing about the movie is even though the message will be sent, nothing will change, it’s how the world is, many fight for change but we always end up back to square one and end up more selfish.
Not necessarily. We may be able to assume that there is 1 dish per person but even if that is the case that would mean that the fruit and alcohol counted as prisoners chosen dishes. Assuming that a singular apple is someone's chosen dish and such items there is definitely not enough food for everyone. We don't know if there is a dish for each prisoner though because the interviewer thought there were only 200 levels before entering herself but there are 333. There might only be 400 dishes/items then since its 2 people per level.
I found this terrible and moving film just a few days ago, but there I see it: the food is the type you wouldn't get satiated with. It's delicious but lacking in nutritions for many people. Snail details are showing that the most. Its just cursed. And they don't get a knife nor fork, while there's no hot meal for eating. Oh why- Fine movie anyway.
So I know damn well they don’t serve the same thing every day , so if everyone ate their favorite food when it was given , for example you choose a pizza and there is a pizza every three days , everyone would get to eat Atleast every third day , this would fix the problem for the bottom floors
They do serve the same thing every day though? Shit changes per month because people _die_ and so their favorite food is no longer served. Actually, that’s an interesting way to figure out who bottom levels should kill. Pick cake? Sorry we have two cakes. Picked the crab, lobster(s) or roast bird? You’re staying.
Undisciplined and inconsiderate kind of people...but then there's not a scene that shows why those People are there? Because in my opinion, different kind of people with different status in society are there.is It showing how our society looks like?

@@RK-ep8qy go watch the movie again. Goreng was at the top.. at floor 6 i believe? But still even only 10 people being greedy, still no food for people at the bottom. The whole movie is a metaphor
@@RK-ep8qy ye been greedy is part of humanity snapping 50% of the people rich or poor would solve the problem.
This movie really stuck with me and I am not faint of heart
i allways asked myself, couldnt every inmate ask for a 5ft cake? no way they could eat it in one way
What shocks me is there's no pizza? Bruh.
Same. I thought many people loves pizza
That cake with the white icing makes me hungry. I'm baking cake tomorrow.
This scene is amazing as it is disgusting
Would be really unlucky to be the last one to eat 🤣
If you were the last one, you would not eat at all.
“There are three types of people”
Those at the top
And those who fall.

I feel that there’s definitely enough food for everybody if they starve themselves a bit
That's the point.
And it kinda isn't.
@Ali Shabbiri please read the comment again
@@laurentiuspyo
Even an empty plate is enough food if you're starving yourself with that logic of yours.
Starving yourself means that there's not enough food.
@@VixxKong2 There is enough food to allow everyone or at least the vast majority of people to survive if they take daily turns. Instead of 100 people with full bellies and 566 having to resort to cannibalism or straight up starve you would have let'd say ~600 hungry but living people.
There isn’t, watch the movie
Why do they make it look so nice even though it will be destroyed 2 seconds later.
They think that everyone down there would be civil and only eat what they wanted not destroy it
Spectacularly captured in this video. Greed.
Now there’s no fucking way that amount could’ve fed 666 people
I liked the movie but honestly there definitely wasn't enough food for all 333 floors
What a great movie I have seen ever❤❤❤
Why did they choose tea? After 2 hours the tea is cold. And is tea food? All the tea on the table is not enough to feed 1 person.
They didnt know what they were getting into
You can choose only one item to take with you.
Me: Imma get my jetpack!!!
This scene perfectly represents humanity and it’s greed.
@@wendel8296 the food ends at level 41-50 and there are 333 levels
@@kimora2756 the logic is the same on the day from level 1 to 50 from 50 to 100 and we also have to say that the food ends up at level 50 because at level 20 the food was already fucked up by people's lack of empathy
Why would you choose wine? You could drink plenty of water.
Who ever came up with this form of punishment must have been a complete psychopath.
I practiced a lot to master speed with excellence while working on a fast food chain, only to witness the other day, a couple of teenagers playing with and throwing their food.
This scene made me feel so sick eeeeeeee
so ummm question about the movie. how did the platform move or stay suspended? they never really explained it in the movie, it was just there ya know.
This scene alone deserves award
Yall are saying eat your own food, but you try and eat the same thing for months at a time, your crap would be watery as hell (or hard idfk I forgot what my science teacher said) and you would get sick of it.
But again maybe the prison would've worked better that by the end of each month, as their changing the cell mates, they should also change the food. Idk that's my personal opinion but the way they have it makes it a good movie to be fair to em :)
Those were only Goku's hands getting all that food at first...
how far does the platform make it down before every crumb is gone?
The movie says its about 50 levels. So 100 people, out of 666. Once they see the lowest levels it’s generally a graveyard.
Idk why but that scene makes me hungry
"You can bring one thing with you"
Me: "a jet pack"
Every prisoner knew what the hole was but the choosed stuppid food not smart food. Walnuts was smart choose. Because it takes time to peel them or break them.
Why do they only serve cake ?
Or just ride the platform when it goes up
'Little snail'
Very dark very truthful movie
They did NOT have 666 portions of food
Except some of them don't eat for a day and eat for the next day. Maybe people in odd levels don't eat for today, vice versa with people in even levels
Another alternative : today, people in level 1-111 eat the food, next day people in level 112-222 will eat the food, then people in level 223-333.
There is also not 222 of food
so satisfying
Why tf did they grab the cupcakes like that
They have one minute each day to eat the food.
Or nothing
I get the meataphore. But lets not forget. Even top prisoners eat only once a day, 2 minutes without any utensils. No idea, which floor will be next month. Who would eat civilised under those circumstances? BTW 333 floors means always at least 33 pairs staying under 100th for three months in a row. No way to survive that.
If i had a dish it would be stake and sliced oranges
You wouldnt get shit
Why not a 100kg of meal?
@@higorss Not possible. The movie doesn’t work like that. You get asked “what’s your favorite food” you can’t reply with “100kg of (insert meal here ___________ ) unfortunately. And there are greedy cannibals who will eat all your food and you whilst they are it!!
Would you take the broccoli 🥦 😅
I’m surprised there’s no pizza
My take is:
The prison or the Pit represents our society (duh).
However, the sad thing about the movie is even though the message will be sent, nothing will change, it’s how the world is, many fight for change but we always end up back to square one and end up more selfish.
well, the elites eat children and drink their blood, literally.
"What's your favourite food?"
Me: 666 portions of cake
Why is there a damn lobster on there, it takes 2 minutes to get into the damn thing let alone eat it
Probably peeled
This is one of the reason why I would never pay for Sports or entertainers. They earn way to much these days and gives nothing back.
Why do they give a half melon?
How can can the annanas be rotten in 1 day?
why do you say that?
I watch the clip again. The ananas is not rotten. My mistake
rich and wealth isn’t the same
Why do they give entire pineapples? Can't fucking eat that.
What item do you want to bring with you on the platform? “A helicopter”
El hoyo ⤵️❤
It’s sad that if they all had only 1-2 plates of food each everyone could have eaten
@@TheZestyPigeon the writer said that the last floor doesn't exist. There are more than 200 floors, but the exact number isn't confirmed.
@@Cooljo88827 the 333 doesnt exist?! Whaat but we see it
Plus if everyone did eat their own dishes which wouldn't happen people are really greedy and there wouldn't be enough due to all the floors
With 666 prisoners? Nah. There would be people starving.
Sushi be great right now 😋😁
“These civilized people? They’ll eat each other.”
Oh why-
Fine movie anyway.
This reminds me, I should go to the store!
this part almost made me sickkkk
We live in a society people
Imagine if Gordon Ramsay was making the food
They hooked that shit just for them to fuck it up
I wonder how snails taste like....

That's America today.
That is one deleted scene?
no

Undisciplined and inconsiderate kind of people...but then there's not a scene that shows why those People are there? Because in my opinion, different kind of people with different status in society are there.is It showing how our society looks like?
Yh I think so too

Stop trying to find metaphors in everything. You’ll start connecting dots where there weren’t anything and think this world is worse than this is.
