Thank you Ravii, But I am just trying to spread this info that People in different regions in MP speak in a very different manner from each other, Malva/Malwa (where Indore is situated) is known to have a sweet tongue/dialect (Mithi boli) and good hospitality, whereas you might not experience the same in regions like Chambal or Bundelkhand, I am not saying those people aren't polite, it's just that they have a harsh sounding dialect bcoz of a different spoken language.
I appreciate those food vendors who instead of taking any credit for their hardwork, entrepreneurship & success, pass on the goodwill into the hands of their customers. No arrogance. No attitude. Pure hearts of gold. I think that's what sets this generation apart from the upstarts.
Basically Poha is Maharashtrian (Konkan region) dish. from Konkan went to Pune and from Pune somewhere in 1920 ~25 got introduced in Indore. Till today you can enjoy best Poha at Ratnagiri ( no bhujia.. no raw onion) garnished with raw crushed coconut and coriander.
I don't believe this I am from Raigad Maharashtra and we put sugar on Poha as a garnish and it has been continued in Indore city... 😍😍😍... Thank you Kunal Vijaykar sir

Awesome….that Sandwich person seems like such a genuine human being….people like him make the world a better place. Kunal if you visit my city in the Western Hemisphere, I’ll be happy take you around!
Thank you, Sir, such a great video. I am feeling so nostalgic as an Indori, who has moved to the USA and as a vegetarian, I can say that there is no other place in the world that gives you better vegetarian food with more options than Indore does. Politely, I just wanna put some correction here: Bcoz of Maharashtrian influence and cultural similarities, Pohe has been a domestic food in Malwa and Indore, but Prashants were the first people to commercialize it and establish it as street food which is served along with Jalebi, and yes a little bit of sugar along with spices and mandatory ratlami sev on top is part of it. Indore was a textile Mills hub and Poha as a whole meal provided a great alternative to fried snacks such as Kachori and samosas etc for Mill workers. Later, it was just unanimously accepted as Indore's favorite breakfast street food by everybody. PS - I hope you haven't missed Sarafa Bazaar night out in the next episode, its a crime to visit Indore and not go to Sarafa night street food market, it is a 200-year-old food tradition in Indore, 56 is inspired by and is a recreation attempt of Sarafa. Also please plan your next visit soon, you won't able to try all the everyday food items in just two episodes. Wishing you all the best in your work.

Kudos to you, Kunal Sir for showing us the flavors of our country... Please do cover the other regions as well... Very inclined to know about the food culture of Bhopal. Have a great festive week ahead 🙏💟
Prashant is the best place to go.one of rickshaw wala had suggested and left us in Gali which leads to this hotel. my only regret is that I couldn't thank the rickshaw guy. Not just Pohang, tea , misal, chass ...everything is too good.
Before IIT and IIM in Indore became top destinations, cheap but top grade Street food in Indore has taken india by storm. Very happy for this city. 👍👍👍👍 Three cheers
Hey Kunal and team, I m late to watch this episode, But but throughly enjoyed the episode. I had been first to Indore last year in Dec 2020. Missed on few places that you show cased in this episode, but if visiting again soon I'll surely visit Bombay Bakery. Waiting for the next episode in Wed. Thank you always always for bringing good food to our tables 🙏😁❤️
Wow. That's a first out of Mumbai episode and a great start. Love the Indori twist to the humble poha. Where in Gujarat its Batata Pauva with Sev, in Maharashtra its Kande Pohe (some like it with batata wada also) and in Indore its with a generous dose of spice and bhujiya. I thought Nilesh bhai will have a blast but eventually Kunal loves his mutton so he ends up at a place that serves it and as usual finds the best. But Nilesh bhai you will get many options so enjoy. That hot-dog (mutton burger al a Indori) will sure give a run to some big burger chains. I am wondering why Mumbai does not have more such joints. We have perhaps thousands of omelet joints here but they have not evolved to making a chicken / mutton burger. Another amazing thing about smaller cities is the quality of ingredients and the unique taste of water. The taste / character of local water does add an unique element to the food that cannot be replaced. Looking forward to part 2. Cheers, MK
