Brilliant series! Many congratulations to all three of you! John and Angela are such kind and hardworking people, I really hope the Council starts the road improvement works soon or if not perhaps the MOD could step in and help? Like you, I was lucky to get a lift to the Kyle of Durness which was brilliant. Once in Durness, we’d missed the scheduled morning Durness Bus departure but I managed to arrange for a Taxi to come from Lairg to pick us up and take us back to Lairg train station - Northern Sights Taxis - which meant I could get to Inverness the same day and start the long train ride home. Well worth considering if you can’t make the morning Durness Bus service, and if there’s a group of you, then it’s good value too all things considered. All the best for your future adventures, Andrew
thanks Andrew, great to be in touch and useful advice which I've pinned. I'm now watching your series, I've discovered the CWT has quite a community. I don't know about you but I absolutely loved making these videos, they're my personal favourites. Good luck to you too, wherever next your'e heading.
What an incredible journey on the Cape Wrath Trail! The final stage from Sandwood Bay to the Cape looks both challenging and rewarding. Thanks for sharing all the essential travel arrangements and highlighting the issue with the potholes. I really hope the Highland Council takes action soon to support the lighthouse and its hardworking owners. Best of luck to the team, and thanks for taking us along on this epic adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed every part! Cheers, Simon - Tales From Abroad
Thanks ever so much Simon 🤗 And thanks especially for the comments on behalf of John at the lighthouse. He’s built a very niche business and needs all the support he can get from visitors. Really pleased that the videos are being enjoyed so much, it reflects the enjoyment I had editing them. Best wishes, and continuing happy travels abroad! Sue 😊
Hello dear friend a very unusual sight of the cow walking along the shoreline 😊. Such beautiful Scottish landscapes and great journey ❤. Thanks for taking us along 😊. Simon and Beth sending you our support 🔔❤️👌❤️
Na' then! What a great ending to an epic hike. Chapeau to all three of you 💪 You definitely put over the relief/emotion/satisfaction in the video Sue, well done. Looking forward to the Swiss adventures. Ian and Meg 🤗🐶😘
Hi Guys, absolutely brilliant many congratulations. I’ve thoroughly loved watching every step of your amazing adventure. You were so blessed with the weather. All the best Dave 😀⛰🥾🏕️🏴

@@thewanderingforester awww, thanks Roger 🤗 We’re away right now but nothing we’ve done yet has matched it! I kept waking up after we’d got home thinking I was still in the tent 😂
The aircraft flying over are something we don't see in Ireland. That was a mad dash . Makes me want to do a bit of a hike . I need a bit of inspiration. Well done Dave 100 mile per hour wind seems bonkers. Really want to put the north of Scotland on my map
@@lifesahobby Yeah, the NW of Scotland - you won’t regret it if the weather is fine (or watching your videos even if it’s howling 😉) We have Ireland on our list too. We’ve been told that Wicklow is the best. The aircraft always causes a stir, everyone loves to see them. I’m told there’s really popular on UA-cam 😂
I certainly get the lingering Sue - lovely beach. And I'd like to linger with this series too - what an amazing adventure. I reckon with the road unbusworthy it made the last few miles. It just felt so right you being driven out. You told a great story Sue and there was no exception in this last video. Well done, super enjoyed it. Mark
@@WyeExplorer Hi Mark! I’ve really loved sharing this. I felt quite sad finishing the series, but honestly it was the hike of a lifetime which I’ll never forget. How powerful these experiences are, as well you know. Enjoy your next one. All the best, and a million thanks for joining me and for all your feedback. It’s added to the pleasure. Peace! Sue 🤗
Well done to all three of you, an epic adventure. I think the wide expanses of beautiful coastal scenery in the final section made a fitting counterpoint to the earlier rough & rugged parts. I've been thinking about Sandwood Bay off & on since I read a Cameron McNeish walking book with it in over 25 years ago.
@@duncanbeard9460 Hi, and thanks Paul 😊 Yes, it’s gorgeous and very popular. Balnakiel bay & Durness are both amazing too. The coast up there is possibly the best we have anywhere. It’s become really popular with the NC500

I completed the Munro's in 2020 and currently trying to finish of the remaining 17 Munro Tops I have left. Well on my way through the Corbetts and really enjoying them, a feeling of more remoteness and not too many people about compared to the Munro's although I'll probably end up do a second round of those as I'm at 70 odd already 🤣and as long as the knees last 😂 All the best to you too...
