This interview and my comment is for those who were around for the 99-2000.
the takeover era
@@HeartbreakEdits 👊🏾👊🏾😎
You mean partying during those times
@@QueXopa79 yup
I was young as hell 4/5yrs old but I remember how big that song & Cash Money was in Louisiana. I’m proud of my culture #BOOTBABY
Mannie Fresh is criminally Underrated 🤘🏽🔥
As long as you know
Top 5 producer easily. Had a great Cash Money run and a solid independent run afterwards.
All his beats sound the same... it's the reason why Scott Storch smoked him in that Verzuz battle
Must be
CRIMINALLY!!!!!💯💯💯
Juvi and Mannie have one of the best tiny desk I’ve ever seen
I second this comment
My favorite along with Scarface
I agree! It was ❤🔥!
You right. Them and Usher, hands down!
Indeed, I watched it 4 times.
Juvenile’s voice is legendary. When you hear it, you know it’s him!
You said something then 🫡
So is p diddys
I'm like, he sounded like this back then.
💯
I would say Jadakiss
Just 28 minutes with these two legends is a crime breakfast club
Wasn't long enough by far
Especially for it to be 2 guest on at the same time. Greats at that.
Yall know how the breakfast club get down
@@KcKimsthe shorter the interview, the more press runs the guests have that day. You should be smarter than that.
Charla said “I know y’all have to go” they on a press tour
When Cash Money took ova for da '99 & '00s ✍🏾🥰
I know right
Juvenile's and Mannie's Tiny Desk live performance was just the best I've seen. Just supreme!
Epic ❤🔥
I listen to it almost every day.
True/I agree
And don’t forget, Mannie Fresh made T.I “ Top Back” Beat😂😂 by far one of the hardest songs ever made
He originally made it for juvenile. Nile didn't like it tho.
@@kendrickdavis9782right. But it was perfect for T.I. 🔥🔥
Really? I love that song when I got my cutlass supreme I played the shit outta that song
@@_EDITZ667 😂😂 I had 87 Trans Am with T-Tops when it came out 😂 couldn’t tell me 💩💩💩
The fact Juvi was explaining the song Order on his album was pretty dope .. It’s like old friends talking about the old days.. Good moment for me 💯
To me, Juvenile is known more than just Back Dat Azz Up. The man has an entire whole catalog.
His tiny desk showed how underrated he was, glad he getting his flowers now.
400 is one of the greatest albums on of all time
Na ha was what brought him in tho
This is a conversation, not an interview... great job!!!
Been jammin 400 DEGREEZ since 1998, one of the best Hip Hop Albumbs EVER
I paid $$ for the CD...and I STILL have that mofo!!! 52 and still backing that azz up! 💯💪🏾😂
@@MsAngie-he5uv 🫡
lol gotta find my CD

it IS~!
I bought that album so many times,be fot they added the last two songs. I've bought that album more than any other album besides Carter 1.
😂😂 “every stud looks like Mannie “
😂😂😂😂
So damn messy! 😂
I hate u for this comment!!😭😭😭😭😭 Go stand in the corner neowwwwwww!!!
WILDN😂😂😂
“Rodeo” by juvenile will always be one of my favorite songs by him..
Yessss 😩🔥
I love the comradery between Juve and Mannie! They really love and respect eachother and it shows!
I have been a DJ in London since 2006... I had "Back That Azz Up" for YEARS during my sets, and it had NO REACTION. For some reason, It just never translated over here at the time. So I just never played it. My first DJ set after Covid's Lockdown... A posh white English lady came up to me, in the members club I was DJing at, and she asked for "Back That Azz Up"... I was EXTREMELY shocked, that I literally asked her 3/4 times to confirm the track she wanted. Lol. It POPPED TF off that night. Classic record.
❤❤❤❤
💯
Well in America it's different everyone always love that song over here
Nobody over there had asses to back up😅
@@jasonkieler5584😂😂😂I’m fkn weak😂😂😂😂
Back That Ass Up - The greatest club song of all time. Any genre. Still to this day.
Mannie and Timbaland are my two favorite producers from the mid 90's, early 00's. Those sounds were iconic. Still are now.
These brothers make me so proud to say I’m from New Orleans,Louisiana
I'm yelling and screaming “G-Code is the song” lol. Glad to see the Legends getting their flowers💐💰⚜️
Me too 😂
Bro I'm like how they don't know the title song to the album
@@jushuslin1404yes bro I’m like how tf yhall don’t know yhall own classic song?🤦🏾♂️😂😂 I know that song word for word!😂😂💯💪🏾
Wayne & juve smashed it too
The Co-host Lauren had really good questions & engaging with the guest. Keep her!☀️
She's definitely a keeper. Great inquiries , engagement, and follow-up questions.
Was hoping it was gonna be her over jess
Yeah but she’s still missing something I can’t put my finger on. Jess just seemed to mesh better with C&E
@@ThatDangVeeshe may be a little timid..with reps she'll be refined
@@ThatDangVee she seems uptight sometimes. I agree Jess was a better fit for the dynamic
Give Mannie his flowers 💐
30min wasn't enough. Absolute legends and still poppin
I remember I was 9 years old back in 99 before the Y2K era! It was a vibe!
I just saw juvenile Saturday night in DC💕 He Still got it!
Where in dc? Ain’t even know homie was here lol
My cousin was a huge lil Wayne fan. She the one who introduced me to cash money when i was little and I never looked back. I still love cash money and hot boyz. They definitely need a reunion or a documentary. We need that nostalgia feeling.
This woman ask great question. Jess is cool but this is how engaging I want her to be
literally played this in my car the other day. 400 degrees will never be old!!😊🔥 15yrs old when this came out.
400 Degreez is that album! I can't wait for a Cash Money Tour!
Juve the great
Much love from Cali to MANNY, JUVENILE, BG, WAYNE, AND TURK. I grew up on this music. Great artist.
Back That Azz Up video was too 🔥🔥🔥
Yesssss
I actually met juvenile while working, when no one was around I told him I was a fan of his and he was mad cool and respectful. Very cool dude I support him
That episode of Abbott Elementary when the principal Ava Coleman was dancing to Back that Ass up was hilarious.
😹😹😹😹 it sure was
I am playing all Juvenile bangers this Saturday at The Links Sports Bar In New Orleans..🔥🔥🔥
The fans demand the whole crew back together 💯💪🏾
They had one of the best tiny desks I’ve ever seen. Legends.
“Make it clap” was my song!!!!!! They had so many bangers
If turk and BG don't stop fussing and get to this money. Thats why wayne stay to his self now
It’s so corny I had to unfollow and unsubscribe.
🎯
THIS!!!
What's their beef?
Mannie Freah will ALWAYS be my fav 🙌🏽
Had the BIGGEST crush on Mannie Fresh during my college days at THEE Jackson State. Still a fan today…and “Back that Azz up” still puts the people in the dance floor.
I’m from Deep South Louisiana, my step father was a blue collar white man. When he died in 2007, BACK DAT AZZ UP was on the cd player (400 deg album) in his truck. HE WAS 67‼️
Slow motion was the sh..🔥🔥🔥
I have an ex who was crazy about that song!
And Bounce Back
It's crazy i was a freshman in H.S. when 400 Degrees dropped, and to be 41 and Back That Azz Up is still a relevant song in 2024?!🤯
I was 12 in the pjs and baby that album was amazing
@@melomaraj indeed.😃
Y'all got some Legends in the building today🎉
I sean Juvenile in SF last Friday and he gave an excellent performance. He never fell short of what you would imagined to expect from him.
The guest interviewer is asking great questions that are really making them provide insightful answers
25 years of dope music is insane!!! Been a Cashmoney fan since 96!!
Juvi is one of the most underrated lyricists of all-time
I went to the show on Saturday in DC. HELL OF A SHOW THEY PUT ON.
Juvenile was the ice cube of the hot boys in my opinion.
I love everything about Juvie's Tiny Desk but my favorite part was when Mannie went out into the audience. I've watched it about 20 times. 😄
25 years later, it's still my anthem! In the parent drop-off line this morning and IT. STILL. HITTTT!!! Thank ya'll for our history
Had to watch this interview just love them 4 real.
Just love me some "Back that Azz Up" is one of my favorite song.
Once played in club everybody get up and party. 😂❤

Shout out to Juvi and Mannie Fresh. I love seeing these guys still look great as they get older
Even though Juve made "Vax That Thang Up" their is no denying that "400 Degrees" is indeed a classic. Hands down 💯
I mean it’s only right I play this on break to pay homage 😂 Goats
Fricken hilarious 😂
CTG is so stupid regarding the stud question LMAO
I loved Mannie’s response
The clean version "back that thang up" was crazy lol
That's what made it popular.
I love these 2..their confidence and greatness lights up the screen. Love they were on here!! ❤
99-2000 was my 12th grade year!!! You know these were my guys!!!
I once met Mannie Fresh in person. He had really good energy and was very positive. By far the coolest celebrity I've met. When Juvenile said in the interview "I like being around positivity", I knew he was talking about him 😎💯
Juvenile does not age. Lol. The name has stood the test of time. We need the real tour and the documentary!!
Mannie still looks the same too

The song that they are referring to is called "Tha G-Code", its my favorite song from the G-Code album. It starts after Baby's skit.

Best interview ever. Manny answered that question like a true legend
“Juvie Juice” 😂🤣 pretty catchy I’ll admit

12:46 Manny’s unreleased Mystikal tracks hurt my heart as unreleased. 😅
I really love what Loren brings to the interviewing space. This was a great interview.

Mannie Fresh and Juv have a special bond. Mannie, Juv, Turk and Wayne are my favorite. BG and Baby on some bs time and losing fans. If there is no tour then Juv, Mannie, Turk and Wayne need to do something.
Juvie isn't going let his fans down. Cause you're looking at Wayne fans Turk fans Manny fans and Juvie fans
Back that azz up is a hit dance song 👍🏿
