It's likely that ramshackle is going to have heavy lore since zeddyzi stated before that the more mystical aspects of the series are really only used for comic purposes and we do have a concrete backstory for stone BUT there was a Tumblr post by zeddyzi a while ago titled "Work in progress of a secret (spoilerish?) piece--i'm trying out a new approach!" And it was stone with angel wings behind him.

He had seen their nature and the nature of the other residents of Ramshackle, and figured that if he had given them, infinite riches for example, they too would become greedy.
I agree with this while he could've he seen how they seek what they need not want so by receiving the gift they strive to be good while pulling off schemes on the rich also they also could just eat shoes tomorrow.
I always thought that the ophanim giving the scraps little food is a form of "baby step" (no pun intended). He does mention at the beginning that they have their own vices as well, but by taking care of a baby, they've proved their moral code. That was their first step to redemption, because they still do not show regrets of the fact they drink, smoke, steal and scam.
This was a nice video and I did laugh at the end of the “Ramshackle” pilot with Maggot giving them such a meager reward, but it’s definitely better than divine judgment.😅
I love this theory so much. I love Rambleshack. It’s what inspired me. I noticed a lot of cartoon gets their story off from a comic and then make it into a full on pilot. I think that’s the point of he comics to get off the ground and then make the pilot as they go and grow if that made sense. I love the pilot I was so sad to find out nobody talked about it outside reactors who watched this. This video made me super happy to see this.

I watched the pilot and loved it; never thought Stone to be an angel! I always thought vampire fitted him more; then again, vampires are said to be corrupted angels, right? and we did see his rich sister in the end of the pilot. also; DEVIIINE JUDGEMENT!!! XD it would be awesome if Stone was a vampire tbh; maybe his dad could be a very kind vampire that got killed, causing something bad to happen to his family leading to Stone running away from home. Some of the other things his parents did to him was that they decided to favor his older sister more than him. I’m not really sure if this is still canon or not but thats all I got (also I found out Stone is his last name according to Zi’s old tumblr posts)

That angel helped people they judjed as "good" without interrupting natural way of their lifes. This is why angel gifted them foo for a day and some money
It reminds me of that Domain of Dread in Ravenloft called Dementlieu where people have to give off the illusion of opulence. I love Ramshackle so much and I believe that the girl is a half Demon and Stone is a disgraced Arch Angel or a Nephilim.
I’m pretty sure the angel didn’t give them a lot of money or anything like that because they would’ve turned out greedy just like the people of ramshackle but instead, he gave them what they needed rather than what they wanted
