Instant click when I saw the notification! The poster about "Blue Lung Blues" reel got me thinking. There's an actual lung condition called "cyanosis" where if not given enough oxygen in you're lung system, your skin, fingernails, and lips turn a shade of blue. Which is part of Guinevere's color palette. If you look at how after the cyborg shoots out those wires, we see a shot of the princess who takes a deep breath in and slightly out, which is how lungs work. Not sure how it would tie in to the cyborg on a dementional operating table, but it's fun to think about it. I'm guessing that all of this is the creator's way of giving Disney the middle finger for cutting off her show when it wasn't done

In Detroit Becomes Human the design of the robots are based on human anatomy, to a point they have their own kind of "blood". I think Guinevere will be just as advanced as that, and something about the Blue Lung Blues is what's causing her to malfunction, or mutate as I think she is patient zero of a techo organic virus.
Cyanosis is not a lung condition. It's a physiological response caused by oxygen deprivation, which can happen, for example, in a heart attack.

You don’t think she’s not just an animatronic but was an alien turned cyborg for the entertainment of man, she looks half organic to me , so it’s her biological mind fighting against the programmed ai illusion they gave her to keep her in check, that’s what it seems like to me anyways.
Glitch hasn’t touched on the implications of ai and tech on the human brain or organic form yet so I’d like to see something like that from them instead of a typical ai gain’s autonomy thing again

Knights of Guinevere feels like its the literal interpretation of Optimus Prime's message of freedom being the right of all sentient beings. just the vibes i've been getting from the trailers.
The fact that the first series created by Dana Terrace right after Disney turned its back on her has a princess as main protagonist, and is also a series for adults, makes this a very big and satisfying middle finger rubbed in Mickey Mouse's face.
Either that or it’s just a big coincidence that might be getting too much read into.
Can we use stop using Mickey mouse as the example like family guy or south park when referring to Disney as a whole.

For sure. Just don't forget that it's JUST a theory and most of it will likely turn out to be completely wrong. It's still tons of fun to come up with them, of course.
Another interesting topic is the idea of dreams and waking. The animals comment softly that she is dreaming - a fitful sleep - while in the "real world" the mechanics panic that she's "waking up" and rush to hold her down. I think we'll see a shattering f her illusion; the fairy tale world crumbling to reveal a stark, painful reality.
Also, on the topic of Christianity and the Crusades, don't forget how heavily Dana leaned into religious symbolism in TOH; the Boiling Isles were originally just straight-up Hell, and Belos was always intended to be a religious fanatic and witch hunter, a crusader on a 'holy mission'.
Furthermore, I don't thing Guienevere is as robotic as you may think; the organic parts on her left shoulder and up make me think 'Android' or 'Bio-mechanical Entity' instead of robot or anamatronic. The tools on the operating table are not screwdrivers and pliers, but sutures and scalpels. We can even see a reading of what seems to be DNA on the screen to the left; I think we're looking at someone seeking to create a biological mascot, only for it to backfire in some way or another.
This teaser gives me Cyberpunk and Westworld vibes!

I knew Glitch was gonna tackle a 2D animated series, I was shocked to find out Dana was going to be in charge of the project I'm looking forward to when Knights of Guinevere premieres.
6:00 It was really cool having Cosmic Fantasy implemented into the final season without having the primary Fantasy elements stripped away.
Well, it makes sense that the princess is part of a theme park but my guess is that she's experiences a form of AR in reality or that when she's offline that she experience a dream that helps regulate her instabilities through VR.
Arthurian legends got chistian aspects added to them as time went on, that why some of the most popular legends are about the knights going on a quest for the holy grail.
Honestly, I’m happy that Dana is finally doing Indie animation and going to Glitch for creating the show with her team. And that the animation looks completely gorgeous. I know that this is going to be a hit. ^^
I was a big fan of the owl house. And I'm really excited about this show. I know that it's going to be great.❤
It looks really promising. I think the show is going to be about how an update goes terribly wrong and it results in Guinevere becoming patient zero of a techno organic virus that quickly spreads. Sadly Guinevere's programming is still active and makes her think she is her princess character in a fantasy world, kind of like what happens when a TF2 character wears the Pyrovision Goggles. The series will be about people trying to stop her or make her realize what is really going on before she kills or converts everyone into a world she doesn't even realize is fake.
Just want to add: in the myth of king Arthur, he accidentally cheats on his wife with his sister to make Mordrid the Black Knight. So that may play into Gwen feeling betrayed and going haywire
Don't forget that Dana Terrace is a co-creator. The others deserve the spotlight too.

i looked up the concept of the queen guinevere there are three different princesses named who marry him. however there three myths, one being the lancelot affair, but there are versions where she is manipulative and cunning. the oddest is that she had an affair of modred arthurs son or nephew depending on the lore.
I could see that theory being true. I want to know more about this blue lung blues thing.
My biggest hope for this series is for there to be a twist in which fantasy world is real and the robot killer world is fake. Horror-disguised media is so overdone that I want a reversed version of it this time.
Also, you should have mentioned how GLITCH making a 2D show after making 3D shows for so long alludes to Rooster Teeth (An ex-indie company that shutdown last year) making Camp Camp. It's like Kevin and Luke want to emulate everything RT did... I hope GLITCH doesn't suffer the same fate RT did during its final years.

I’ll admit I’m not crazy about Sci-Fi, but I’m definitely willing to give this show a try as, in true Dana Terrace fashion, it’s going to be full of deep lore and interesting plot twists. And, the potential AI themes will be interesting too.

I have a theory. In the teaser image glitch put before we got the trailer in the top her right eye is crossed out. I have a feeling it will be important because why would they put an X on her eye? For no reason? I don’t believe that. In the scene where she’s malfunctioning with her tentacle like arm her right eye is also kind of a glowy blue with her left eye shut. We know glitch has the tendency to sneak spoilers of the story into things like posters, like for example glitch revealed that Tessa was actually cyn way back when (I’m pretty sure) happy campers came out and the poster was released (can’t remember which poster but it was one of them) but that’s just my theory 🤷♀️

also lancelot basically is a fan character (like how dante’s inferno is basically a fan fiction with dante being a self insert) added to the mythos after the tale of king arthur existed

Your wrong Arthurian myth is Christian. It's got the Holy Grail and Merlin is a nephilim.
He isn't wrong, per se. At least, he is not wrong in how you claim. Arthurian legends came from the Welsh who are part of the Celtic people of Britain (the others being Irish and Scottish though it is more complex than just saying they're all Celtic, but that's a whole other history lesson lol). It was adapted to have some Christian elements later because Christians love taking things from others and melding them into their "own" culture... but they didn't come up with the legends themselves, just adapted them. That's why later adaptations have things like the Holy Grail and such, but those stories came much later than the original myths and legends. 🙂 Hope that helps. (If you're wondering, I'm Welsh, so fairly familiar on the topic lol)
