a little BD trivia for you guys. Rick Odello was the inventor of the drum scoop with Ludwig to replace the North drums that were so heavy. (it was a Tupperware bowl cut in half) SCV was the ones who started the angled cut tenors with Slingerland. Welcome back Ludwig!

All of the negativity on this video- clean enough to be undefeated in full corps as of August 1st. I know we're talking drums here, but the big picture seems to be the crowning jewel of D.C.I. When I marched back in the stone ages we tied for the Sanford but Blue Devs still won with a 4th place drum line. Just sayin'. Everything was insanely hard, speedy, and requires a high level of touch that point until the end. Very hard to do with a rookie line. I'm positive they can all play it clean alone, but putting that touch together in a full line is insanely hard as all rookies. Much easier when your rookies are listening into a solid group of 4-5 to begin with. They are 'all' trying to find their sound together. Still solid shit regardless.
