I’m so glad I found this video. I’m In the process of fixing up my old dolls. They are all just vinyl & needs a good cleaning. Most are from the 50’s & the I have 2 1960’s babies. 2 needs new wigs & they all need new clothes. The last baby doll I got was in 1961. She was a Baby Dear clone. She has to have a new body & stuffing. That will be the hard one. I still have my doll bed & high chair from early 60’s. They are still in good shape. I anxious to get them fixed up & displayed. Your video is very informative & interesting. Thank you!🩷

There's an art to fixing and restoration of things. The personal expense that go into restorations does not reflect the payback of the ending price. But no one can charge for the love of the work that is placed on the restored object. You have love your work.
I contacted you today and you promptly answered my email, I was so appreciative . I just came across this utube video and found it so interesting. It is very hard to find someone who does doll restorations. I’ve watched so many video,s all day that I think I can restring a doll now 😁

Thank you for a very fun and interesting video; I love dolls to have a BYLO baby that escaped a fire and a Baby So Beautiful doll who was the victim of a haircut when my baby boy was about 4 ( He's now 31) yes, it is a shame that young people have so interest in something so precious.

Is there any way to remove dye from a reborn doll? My baby had a bad accident with a velour pillow during a move. 😭

@@amyryan7598 I tried it with 1/2 elastic and I could not get the arms and legs tight enough. They're too floppy for me. Any ideas?
@@mahalodays1184 maybe try watching some videos on here about stringing old dolls. Its kinda hard to get tight I agree.
