In Hungary we do not live under a rock either. So we get all the PC stuff through the same social media platforms that operate in Australia too... At the elections there is only a tiny bit of difference between conservatives and liberals. But the liberals failed to gain the majority of the votes over the last 3 elections, because the only thing they say is that if they win then they will copy what US liberals do in the US... But in big cities like the cosmopolitan Budapest the opposition (liberals) won the local the elections again. So addicts, graffiti, and homeless are welcome :) we had a little pause from them between 2010 and 2019 when the conservatives could win the elections, they minded things like cleaning the street, maintaining buildings, and keeping order...
I didn’t know Hungary is so colourful. All I knew was about Budapest being a one stop destination before going to nearby countries like Austria or Czechia. Hungary you’re on my list now ❤

Great visuals and video but the names are almost impossible to understand due to narrator’s pronunciation. Hungarian is a difficult language but in a commercial video like this some effort would go a long way.
I can't answer you the first question, but the second. As a Hungarian who have been in all of the places I think that apart from Budapest and the Balaton most of the places is a one day journey. Budapest is a beautiful city and I recommend you to spend as much time there like Prague or Vienna. Lake Balaton is the best in the summer, and there are a lot of exciting places as he mentioned it in the video. If your hotel is at Siófok, you can visit Balatonfüred, Tihany, Héviz and other magnificent places so it's a one week trip.

As a Hungarian I really appreciate this video! If I can tell you a tip is that dont go to Miskolc... there are some weird ass ppl. Instead go to Tata its near Esztergom and it has a castle and a lake which is sooo beautiful Its woth it!
I do not see a point to visit Tata or Miskolc in general at all. Not because of weird people. There is just simply nothing much to see at these places. Go to Budapest, Pécs and Szeged and all around the lake Balaton. Other than that there is not much to see in Hungary. Especially Tata does not even worth a visit if you live in the country and bored to hell. Miskolc area can be more interesting because of Fortress, the Castle hotel complex in the mountains next to the lake, and the waterfalls, but the city itself is nothing much, however the fortress was accidentally turned into an abandoned construction zone, and the hotel is only available for guests, and it's quite rundown anyway, and the waterfalls is only interesting to Hungarians because this is the only waterfalls in the whole country, and even this one is very small and not really spectacular. Trust me, I am a Hungarian who lived in the US, Canada, and now living in Switzerland. I travelled extensively on all continents and seas.

Im half Hungarian, so I mostly agree with this content. To be honest Im not a person who likes wine, but in Eger they make the best wine In whole world called "Egri Bikavér" - it literally means "Bull blood form Eger" - the best red wine ever.
Entertainment was in Sa and it became an attraction for a lot of people. The whores were legendary among all the lands and it became a hub. Mason went on a tantrum on some of his people he was keeping and he was detained by the NL group. Aun was called in to finish Mason. He punched him in the fat belly and then it was over for Mason. Maxwell was called in to take over as people were already there. He was the biggest john in the area at the time and a number of his whores called him. Aun called him. Hungry was pre me but I was told that it was first established to take entertainment away from Sa and create a more stable place. Not all entertainment people were on board and a lot still stayed. People like having their own thing and own ways of doing it. There are a number of diverging ideas and people like having their own ways of doing things especially when you are established or have your own power. People in entertainment like having that exploit of managing people and they will find ways to keep it. Such as moving to different areas if some people were to take it away. The system would have to be a lot bigger and the world more stable in a lot of places not to have somewhere be a kept whore paradise or a person to buy out all of entertainment and control it that way and make it harder to get into the industry.

I am a Hungarian who lived in the US, Canada and now living in Switzerland. I travelled extensively all around the world, on each continent. Honestly Hungary has not much to offer in terms of the nature. Many of the nature footages in the beginning of the video are not even from Hungary, but the editor had to fill up the timeframe with something. The following scenes are definitely not from Hungary: 0:07, 0:23, 0:26. Despite of what the narrator says, we definitely do not have "a beautiful panoramic scenery out of a national geographic magazine". Hungary is mostly about Architecture, which is really amazing in Budapest, but the rest of the country cannot offer nearly 1/3rd of the architectural value that Budapest can, and other than buildings there is literally nothing to see in Hungary. The nature is as boring as it can get, no mountains, no transparent blue lakes (only ugly grey or green ones), no ocean, no sea, no breathtaking natural sceneries. Mostly plane flat empty agricultural land and a few slightly hilly areas without any spectacular peaks, rocks, or valleys. The other big thing in Hungary is hot springs, for some reason it is taught to Hungarians from childhood that Hungary is special because it has so much hot spring thermal water that no other countries. Little they know that Western European, the west coast of North and South America, South-West and East Asia are exactly the same in terms of the amount of geothermal springs. So in terms of nature there is literally nothing special in Hungary.

A colleague of mine visited Hungary and few other Eastern European countries and said that once they visited outside tourist attractions that English wasn’t spoken so it made it difficult to understand and be understood by the locals. We would hate to only be stuck in tourist areas with other tourists and not be with the locals to really enjoy the countries and their cultures.
With translating apps you will be fine also most younger people in hungary speak atleast a little english. And people are very friendly especially in the country side where there are no tourists. Hungarian people are very proud and they will want to show you everything and help you as much as they can even if they can't speak english. So I realy recommend to visit the country outside of Budapest. (ps.: I'm hungarian so I'm a little bit biased but I think I didn't exaggerate)
@@danielsz8222 Can confirm - I visited Bicske while in Hungary a few years ago, and this one man came up unprompted and spoke to me for ten minutes straight, with me just nodding and smiling and not knowing nearly any of the language. He did seem friendly enough though, smiling away

The nature is as boring as it can get, no mountains, no transparent blue lakes (only ugly grey or green ones), no ocean, no sea, no breathtaking natural sceneries. Mostly plane flat empty agricultural land and a few slightly hilly areas without any spectacular peaks, rocks, or valleys.
The other big thing in Hungary is hot springs, for some reason it is taught to Hungarians from childhood that Hungary is special because it has so much hot spring thermal water that no other countries. Little they know that Western European, the west coast of North and South America, South-West and East Asia are exactly the same in terms of the amount of geothermal springs. So in terms of nature there is literally nothing special in Hungary.

A colleague of mine visited Hungary and few other Eastern European countries and said that once they visited outside tourist attractions that English wasn’t spoken so it made it difficult to understand and be understood by the locals. We would hate to only be stuck in tourist areas with other tourists and not be with the locals to really enjoy the countries and their cultures.
With translating apps you will be fine also most younger people in hungary speak atleast a little english. And people are very friendly especially in the country side where there are no tourists. Hungarian people are very proud and they will want to show you everything and help you as much as they can even if they can't speak english. So I realy recommend to visit the country outside of Budapest. (ps.: I'm hungarian so I'm a little bit biased but I think I didn't exaggerate)
@@danielsz8222 Can confirm - I visited Bicske while in Hungary a few years ago, and this one man came up unprompted and spoke to me for ten minutes straight, with me just nodding and smiling and not knowing nearly any of the language. He did seem friendly enough though, smiling away

I would go to Hungary just for the sake of savouring the national Goulash treat. Besides that, I do not think there is any reason to visit there unless you are extremely hungry.
