Nice view on 7 strings I had a jackson 32 7str...it was great upset I ve sold it , way over the 22...
Legator, Skervesen, Ibanez, Schecter, Ltd, Kiesel, etc. Bunch if great brands.
Definitely agree on the 157, as a proud owner of one.
I plan on modifying the hell out of mine :)

👍 schecter banshee elite 7 frs is superb high specs instrument but you could add ibanez 2027 xl and solar 1.7 frs for comparison they also had nice fit n finish

Nice list! I own the Jackson w amaranth fingerboard. You may need to shim the neck like i did, but the quality of the build you get for the price is ridiculous. Perfect mod platform. Fretwork actually incredible, amazingly straight , frets polished beautifully and smooth top and bottom all the way up and down the neck, you can tell Jackson is not a novice in this game. The stock pickups are not bad at all. You're still probably going to want to replace them, but you could probably pass for a gig or two. They're "good cheap" pickups, if you know what i mean. Id probably recommend you get the model with the maple fretboard, possibly the blue- body version if you can find it. I just bet the tones that bounce off the maple fretboard would probably be better than the amaranth. But just a guess.

The Ibanez UV777BK had the best neck for a 7 string.
Musicman, caparison, mayones, strandberg, abasi master Series. Probably my Buck for the best you Can get off the top of my head. But then again unless you have a lot,of money to drop then the small ,again above 2000$ youre paying for aestetics, craftmanship and your own happiness most of all.
It's a good list if you like floyd rose on a 7 string. I think this list was made by people who don't play
Only problem is my jp157 would not stay in tune like at all it would constantly go in and out because of the trem idk why
In an update to this video I would appreciate some attention to fanned fret instruments.

Kiesel makes the best guitars on the planet imo, 7-strings included. I have a 7-string carve-top Crescent and it's nothing short of amazing

No disrespect but I can think of 5 guitars that are WAY better than some of the ones listed. The best they listed was a schecter, which I will say make a great 7, but any Ibanez prestige 7 string is better than the schecter, (Japan made v Korean) and the Ibanez comes with a fitted case. The schecter you have to buy separately and sometimes the cases schecter makes don’t fit perfectly, Which is huge!!! I would take both sterling 7s out. Cause there are plenty of 7 better than both of those. I mean everyone has an opinion, but but this list just isn’t logical. I mean Ibanez made the 1st 7 and u left them out completely. And I would say the schecter km7 is better than the banshee listed. I agree with the EII, I own one and it is incredible, but ltd makes better 7s than the sterling. I mean put an actual music man 7 on there and I’d agree.
I find the copy paste format of these presentations a little boring. The information was mostly good, although some of the comments sounded like someone who researched guitars more than played them .
