Seattle would have to move Castillo in a trade first, the Mariners would want Arenado and liberatore to send Woo back to St. Louis. Honestly, it's a lot of moving parts to make that happen.
Stroman's player option makes him a bad trade target after regressing for the last three years, the only team who would take that trade on would be the Twins. Correa for Stroman, Dominguez, Paraza and warren, New York really doesn't have much choice if they want to move Stroman.
His numbers aren’t good enough to offset the clubhouse concerns as well. Teams aren’t just looking at his impact on the field, he’s got liabilities in the clubhouse too.
@@benjames4502 iam really sad for Stroman. He wanted to be a Yankee so bad. However, cash has to limit the bleeding. If he makes his pitch inning, the Yanked have to give him.a qualifying offer for 26
Hello guys, my question is do you think the drama with sasaki having meetings with all those clubs when he all along was going to go to the Dodgers? If he signs with the Dogers so much for wanting a small market.
You would be a fool to not listen to offers from all the teams willing to pay you. Even if your mind was set on one team, there’s no harm in listening and leverage helps you achieve your goals
@jykim3604 when the agent speculated it's because his client it's good with it and the consideration for small market clubs came about after speculations of him going to the Dodgers, that was all over the media.
@@RetiredandTraveling1755 If you listen to the interview, Joel Wolfe admitted several times that he hadn’t had a chance to discuss anything with Sasaki at that point, because no one was prepared for Chiba Lotte Marines to say yes to the posting. Sasaki was either en route or had just flown in from Japan.
Nolan actually okay'd a trade to seattle.. it's just a matter of how much money does STL eat.

The alternative trade MN would want back for Correa would be Volpe, Jones and warren to eat stroman's contract, honestly NyY maybe stuck with Stroman.

Let's see how he rebounds in 25. He is not tradable at this time. May be by the deadline in summer.
@@Rocco-nu1uiany team trading for Stroman will still have to pick up 27 million and some change even if he's moved at the trade deadline.

He never said he wanted a small market. It was his agent who speculated on his preference, and that was before he had a chance to speak with Sasaki.
