Transforming Trauma in Uganda: ATOP MeaningfulWorld's 2024 Humanitarian Mission

Join us as we take you through ATOP MeaningfulWorld's 2024 Humanitarian Mission to Uganda, a nation renowned as the "Pearl of Africa" for its natural beauty and resilience. From June 18th to July 1st, our dedicated team, including Dr. Ani Kalayjian, Romance Albarqawi, and Margo Sargsyan, embarked on a life-changing journey to bring healing, empowerment, and hope to communities deeply affected by trauma and hardship.
During our mission, we worked with a wide range of groups, including academic institutions, NGOs, women's centers, orphanages, religious organizations, and the general community. Our focus was on addressing the mental health crisis in regions such as Mbarara, Mbale, and Kampala, where trauma, poverty, and lack of resources have taken a severe toll.
