My prayers and thoughts go out for both of you 🙏 I lost a house to fire, after I moved here with mom, to take care of her, and it was _highly_ suspected as "not accidental". The sense of loss is profound, but God does open new doors and new beginnings. Both of you being safe is the main thing.
However this happened - at the least they were able to try to cover it with lawn hoses, before the fire company got there - that's something! And, however this happened - have prayed, and shall continue to do so + + +
Oh Tammy.... The first thing she mentions is people's packages... That's a true blue reseller. I'm so sorry... It's devastating... But I'm so glad you saw the smoke!!! And glad you are all okay!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Also, to explain why the first company only pulled one line, there always have to be two firefighters outside in case of a rescue. Once a second company arrives, if a second line is needed, they will pull it. I hope this gives you a little comfort in a very difficult time.
Gotta have enough water for the hose too, first engine only has 3 minutes worth of water.

This is the first time that I have watched a house burn and knew the people. It is gut wrenching. Take care of yourselves, physically and mentally. I am thankful that both of you and Jack Jack are all safe. I had a little chuckle when Tammy said "One hose? We only get one hose?"
Horrific. To stand there and watch everything you have, destroyed in a matter of minutes. In spite of this, you will once again, thrive! And, something that can’t get burned in any fire, is the outpouring of love and support for you all. ❤

I have been in the firefighting profession for over 30 years which I retired as captain from a career department and will say I was definitely impressed with the aggressive push on the interior and stayed with it to the end! Not being critical but the only thing I may would have done differently depending on structural integrity is had truck company to vent top side to help clear up and help interior crews to locate lingering fire2

Gut-wrenching. Heartbreaking. Sorry is not enough. I am truly sorry Tammy & David. Had a house fire when I was a kid. 60 yrs ago and I still still smell the house smoke when I think about. I can't explain it. It's a different smell than say a fireplace smoke. You'll rebuild and our community will get your Manhattan and toy sewing machines back again.

My heart aches for you guys so much having to know what you guys went through. Words can't express enough just how traumatic this is. Watching this is reliving what I had to go through right along with you guys. I heard Tammy mention the ceiling fan and this is ironic. The very same night my house burned down and I was speaking with the battalion commander of my fire department he explained to me the fire originated in the den from the ceiling fan. Even as a volunteer fire fighter I've never heard until this time of a ceiling fan being the cause for a house fire. He also explained to me that the fact that It was a modular home that there wasn't much they could do as far as attacking the fire other than to protect the other structures nearby. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers on our prayer request at church. With the support and love from this wonderful community you guys will be okay ❤❤❤

If you are in rural America, and available during the day. You should consider volunteering. A fire extinguisher could have made a world of difference, a pressure washer would have been significant in keeping a fire spread minimal until help arrived.

David and Tammy, my thoughts and prayers have been with you since hearing about this on Scott's channel. Glad you are safe. And thank you, Tammy, for commenting about the ceiling fan. Several months ago I read that they are a major cause of house fires and I laughed it off, ignored it. After seeing this and hearing your comment, I couldn't ignore it any longer. I immediately got up and turned off all 4 ceiling fans.

Sorry this happened to y'all but at y'all got out safe. Could've used that hurricane about 8.5 hrs sooner. As for the hose issue the second in crew are the ones to pull a second line. Or if any off duty or volunteers show up then they would stretch the 2nd line

OMG, I had tears in my eyes watching this video. Fire is my greatest fear with all this collected stuff in my house and boxes saved for maybe EBAY someday. I am sure you were feeling devasted filming it and in disbelief. The money I sent via Dee in the coffee fund can be used for as much wine as you need, as I am sure that will help somewhat. Know that so many people are thinking of you too and praying for better days
