I bought Selects Juggernaut for 24.99 on Amazon when I got into Marvel Legends in 2018, right around when everyone wanted like $100+ for the Juggernaut BAF. A few months later the 80th set was announced for 59.99. I immediately sold my Selects Juggernaut for $0 and only asked the buyer to pay shipping. No regrets at all and I learned that collecting MLs requires a lot of patience and discipline, lol!
I bought the Apocalypse wave Sabertooth, Colossus from Select and Juggy from Select too. They were my first Legends scale aside from Iron Man from wave one of Legends. I still have Juggernaut and like him best, except that time his hip joint pinched me and drew blood. That's one tough Juggy.
@@edselrivera2085 They are perfect for big characters like Thanos or Juggy. I like the Rogue from Select but I didn't get it due to height differences. But she looks better overall I think.
I love how Selects Juggy looks. His size relative to ML makes him look like the Marvel vs. Capcom sprite. If he had wrist articulation he’d be perfect. 80th is definitely the next best and comes with such a desireable partner figure too!
Loved the video 5POA. These comparisons go a long way in helping newbies decide which is proper for their collection. I too have the MS Juggernaut and have yet to see anything that would upgrade it. For us collectors it all comes down to our preferences, and most of those preferences are influenced by money and availability. My preference was to have a Juggernaut that would be so imposing its shadow would blackout a Hulk. Selects does exactly that. I also own the Select Magneto and I used the same methodology in determining which version to get - I wanted an imposing classic looking Magneto and Select's was my preference.
Great as always, thank you. You may have forgot one though… the 2022 AliExpress Juggernaut ;-) Honestly though, a friend got me that figure and I have to say I love it. Aesthetically it holds up well, as well as scaling well with other Marvel Legends. It has sufficient accessories and the poseability is definitely the best… it may have even won this competition! It would take the lose ability and price categories. And for some, maybe even the fun factor!
Honestly the 80 years Juggy is still my favorite fig in my collection, wasn't expecting much with Colossus but damn, I was impressed with it. One of the best 2 packs in my collection imo. Btw, have you seen the custom Juggernaut that was being sold months ago? The figure was using like a hulk body mold to give him more posability, i know Shartimusprime reviewed it.
Great comparison I like the BAF the best but only after I took the select head added some sticky tac to the BAF ball peg and put it on the BAF. I think the select head fits the BAF a lot better then the original.
I just got a Marvel Select Juggernaut. I had 2, extremely undersized Toy Biz Versions. So, considering the secondary price of the others, and that the Select was still the same price, I went for it.
To answer your question, I don't think we've ever had a definitive Magneto figure. They've always had some sort of downside, which is unfortunate given how essential of a character he is.
You know, I see all your comments but I never noticed you only watch DC videos. I hope you enjoyed this one, there is a lot more Marvel on my channel where that came from lol
@@5POAFigureReviews yea like he has the perfect size and thickness and color and everything but you can just give us fisted hands come on now guys 🤦🏽♀️
Once you have the batman hush blue and gray variant figure I hoped you compare it to batman dark detective, rebirth and page punchers also compare it to superman like the page punchers, justice league/dawn of justice, solar suit etc. Alright?
Select storm is too tall! You putting her next to juggernaut made it apparent. Selects scale is all over the place, i usually only stick with the big figures!!🤷♂️🤷♂️😁👍
@@5POAFigureReviews The bootleg looks dirtier because the excessive black washes. It also has paint variants too "JuggerCap" , Colossus and Deadpool movie Jugg.
Though I like the 80 years colors. I have to give it to select. He feels and looks as beefy as the MVC games. Or even Marvel Super Heroes game. You get the most for your money.
80 years wins out for me. Hand feel, playability, articulation, is king. It is an action figure, it is meant to be played with. So it's got to be the 80 years Legends for me...
I have the Marvel Select Jugger, so I can consider myself lucky in that aspect, but the Toy Biz Jugger... it makes me laugh because it looks like a chimpanzee because of those arms XD
Geez Louise, all of them pretty much suck. Guess you get what you pay for. They are cheap. I never liked the recycled buck bodies these companies do. It looks cheap. Each character should be a new sculpt. I rather pay more for kaiyodo, mafex, or s.h.figuarts. unfortunately none of them have a juggernaut. At least that I'm aware of. Guess I'll be waiting. Anywho, these juggernauts aren't bad I suppose for the price point and for kids. Something for everyone. Do mind me. I'm just a frustrated collector lol Just ranting
the knock off one I have has hip cuts, textured pants, and butterfly shoulders. He too has the belly button. This isnt to be confused with those 5 inch ones that have multiple paint jobs. This guy is listed as 8 inches and it's only 20 bucks. It's just far better than all the above. I liked the weird proportions of toybiz one for some reason but I replaced it with this. I can easily find it on aliexpress but not on ebay or anything else, and if I do I bet they will ask for 50 or more. I actually got some cool customized legends from there too. Cyborg spiderman with more accessories for again less than it cost to get a new one, and idk a weird venom/black suit figure that had a bunch of stuff. Is it just me or has ebay legend prices gotten insane? People asking full price for a bafless figure that was already a peg warmer... Haven't seen a single real decent deal in like a year.

I love Marvel Select. They are not perfect but they have great detail. I found the other brands over price.
@@edselrivera2085 They are perfect for big characters like Thanos or Juggy. I like the Rogue from Select but I didn't get it due to height differences. But she looks better overall I think.
What?
It hilarious that Juggernaut’s real name is Cain Marko (mark of Cain) and his brother (Professor X) is disABLEd.
Ha! Very good one
LOL WTF!
You're reaching...

Oh yeah. In terms of Presentation, nothing will ever beat the Select Juggernaut

Marvel Select Juggernaut still rules :)
It does, and you'll be seeing a variation on him in an upcoming video!
@@5POAFigureReviews looking forward to it 👍
The AliExpress bootleg Legends Juggy is supposed to be pretty nice. Nice video. Select is my go to as well.

Thanks Arturo!
this is a great juggernaut breakdown video
Thank you Willy!
Fun video. I love these sorts of comparison videos
Thanks Aaron!

This is so helpful! Have you checked out the bootleg Marvel Legends one with the Hulk's body mold? It's SO good! He's my main Juggernaut now.
I've seen that! I think I might have to track one down
great channel. subbed
Thanks! Glad you like it
Great 👍 video and figure versus battle 👏 😎 that Marvel Select gets my vote
Random non video related question but have you done a headswap video for Mcfarlane Flash's
If you watch my CW Flash video I did swap that head with Ezra Miller, but that is the extent of Flash head swaps I have done so far.
another great vid Jason. Juggernaut has always been a fav 🤘
Same here!
Do Colossus next!
You know that's not a bad idea
Great comparison I like the BAF the best but only after I took the select head added some sticky tac to the BAF ball peg and put it on the BAF. I think the select head fits the BAF a lot better then the original.
The select has an accessory and backdrop
You're right! I had mine so long I totally forgot. Good catch!
Only select and 80 yrs are worth getting imo at least oob 80 yrs is already a vs pack so juggy never has to stomp solo if you own no other xmen ml
I just picked up a Select Juggy from BBTS. Great fig for less than $30.
Nice!!!
You said "overlapping the balls"... huhhuh huh huh huh
Lol

Agreed.
Kqiyodo Magneto is pretty decent though
Mafex will be releasing one in April
We are getting a Legends X-Men 97 Magneto soon
My first non DC video.... Rigamarole done 👍

Actually,in the deadpool 2 movie he mentions that his helmet is to prevent xavier's powers, great video as always jason
Speaking of big figures, I'm excited for when you review Solomon Grundy.
Marvel select is perfect i just wish he came with a set of open hands 😂
That would have been a perfect add on

It really is. That's one reason I no longer do Select except for bigger characters or specific situations.
For the display select one is my preference .
Same
There was a reference in dead pool 2 about his step brother
Anyone know if the Toybiz arms can disconnect at the bicep swivel?
i have the select one. i fink its ther best but you are alowed to have your ovn apinion
I got the bootleg select Juggernaut lol.. and it kinda looks okay along with my ML collection.
That's really interesting. How does the bootleg look compared to the real deal? I haven't seen one.
@@5POAFigureReviews The bootleg looks dirtier because the excessive black washes. It also has paint variants too "JuggerCap" , Colossus and Deadpool movie Jugg.
Toybiz version has boot rotation
Oh it does? Mine must be stuck. Thanks for the info.
What… No 1991 ToyBiz Uncanny X-Men Juggernaut?!?
But seriously, great video which gave me perfect insight to which is my favourite.
Thanks! Funny thing is I am pretty I did have that one at some point. Not sure what happened to him, though lol
The winner is the aliexpress ko it uses the hulk buck so it has butherfly joints and looks great .
I really need to get one of those sometime and try that out

Yeah, Select is my personal favorite as well
I'm still waiting on a perfect Magneto figure. Maybe my love of the character has made me too picky.
I think the problem is it very rarely is Magneto his own mold, so there are design flourishes that are missing
Mafex coming out with one
5th
Nice!
👍
I like the BAF the most, since it's the only one I have lol.
Hey it's like they always say, if you can't be with the Juggernaut you love, love the one you're with lol

You could give the BAF’s belt to the two pack Juggernaut to make an Animated Series version
