I wanted to buy a whole frame of comb honey, but bought a one pound box at my local Amish market the other day for $13. If I've figured it correctly that's about $52 for the frame and is way more than I want to pay as I'd need pay shipping on top of that. But it's a great product and I'm impressed with your work. I love honeycomb. It does wonders for my allergies in the spring (I have no symptoms anymore!). I cut off about a teaspoon's worth and pop it in my mouth and chew on it at breakfast. SO DELICIOUS. Someday, I will raise my own bees.

Big raw honeycombs on a stick (You know, the honecombs that you see on a tree) costs 4$ in Thailand. The only problem is they still have some larvae and alive bees inside. It's not called RAW for nothing
You could seperate it through a strainer if you mixed it before hand and left it in the strainer for a while with a bucket underneath. Just scrape it off the template. You can reuse the template like that as well.

It sure is. There are many different answers to this question, but ultimately it depends on the beekeeper. The general standard in beekeeping is that you have the bees in a box on the bottom, and "supers" that they will fill with honey on the top. The bees will only put excess honey in the top, which is what they plan to use to survive the winter with. Generally bees will way overproduce, which is what we humans will take from them. So we take the excess, that they were supposed to use to survive the winter with. In return, we set them up with a home, insulation, and food for the winter. We ensure that they have optimal conditions to survive the winter, generally even better conditions than they would have had with their honey to begin with. So to answer, it depends on the beekeeper, but yes, we're still doing just fine by the bees.

It is fun to eat and tastes good, but more as a novelty than something I'd like to buy in quantity as I thought I wanted. I'll keep buying raw honey. It's costing me about $5 a pound shipping included for 12 pounds. Raw honey is worth every cent over they filter honey I can get at the store. Again, thanks for you splendid presentation.
