So many people hearing about Lyon's and Ajax's seasons so I decided to update you guys on Basel.

It was Vogel's 3rd time managing them, actually. First time was much better. Celestini has done a good job, and they cashed in (again) on Barry, plus the massive amount they got in the Calafiori sell on clause. I hold out hope they can get back to Europe. It's YB's turn to be bad.

The ownership and the way they spend the money is the problem. They always have had some experience at striker. Ross & Gimenez, Streller, Frei, van Wolfswinkle (sp?), etc, or a guy who could not be stopped like Cabral, Amdouni or Zequiri. They have failed to find that. Relying on F. Frei and the lesser known Xhaka brother just isn't enough leadership. They have since this video shown some life, so hopefully the new manager has got it headed in the right direction, we will see.

Sadly, you got the league system all wrong: First there are 33 games, everybody plays against everybody 3 times. Then there is the split in two groups 1-6 & 7-12, where you play one game against each other group member.
