I think that the super drifty handling model is about the best we could hope for out of an open world mobile game... It`s simple, it`s forgiving, it`s fun, it allows cars to feel more agile and change directions suddenly or go round tight bends quickly (important in an open world game where you may decide to turn onto another road at the last second), and it works well with a touchscreen

Yknow what, i wouldn't be against having something this arcadey and bright looking style coming out as a small asset flip/tune up on pc/console hardware if it means the next mainline game that'll obviously be grittier, has more time for polish and iteration

Also remember tencent is doing this because of netease "Ace racer" (look it up it's the exact game but in closed circuit and powers) tencent wants to prove they are the best. (And that's a good thing) EA lost his fight with cod mobile. So instead they aim for the racing genre. Tencent first major appearance in mobile was "PUBG" mobile (released first in china then to global) their second is "CoD mobile" (once again released first in china after Activision told them that cod online isn't really good, then they released it to global). Their tarkov rip off (china first then global) and more. Tencent also released a few racing games before but didn't make it to global due to it being too "basic" (ex: "tencent speed drift" i think that's what it's called) In other words if the game gets popular then the global release is guaranteed. And so far people have been mentioning nfs online a lot and since nfs world got shutdown (which makes this similar situation to cod online) i assure you that this game is releasing globally!
They really need to make their next nfs game to progress more like a mobile game. Progression will feel much better leveling up instead of having 50 useless level although they need to balance time progression and money together correctly or else itll fail.
again, this is game has a lot of similar elements of Ace Racer, Tencent’s release back in May this year… the sound effects, physics, graphics are all very similar or even straight up reused…
most games that are released in china don't have eng as an option even if they get a global release because they usually make a sperate global version and english is spoken way less than chinnise in china

they are basically live service and have aggressive mtx that's why they need to be always updated and have better things. people keep buying mtx and funding for more updates soon as people stop spending money so do the updates
I hope they will publish this globally cuz this gives me a reason to actually play on my phone.
