World Heroes 2 Jet is a 1994 fighting arcade game developed and published by ADK with the assistance of SNK. It was originally released for the Neo Geo MVS arcade cabinet on April 26, 1994. It is the sequel to the 1993 fighting arcade game World Heroes 2, as well as the third title of the World Heroes series.
It was followed by a sequel released over a year later titled World Heroes Perfect.
J.Maxx was able to do his "hadoken bolts " when introduced in WH2....but excluded in this game in favor of immense reach of punches and kicks, along with grappling/suplex/throwing bodies.
Dude always confused me..he's based on Joe Montana, is a family man...but is unusually large, loves violence, uses spectral footballs, and has demonic red eyes...
There's a football team of cybernetic enhanced football players in the anime "8 man after". They look just like him, minus the colors.

I always thought Johnny Maximum was one of the better designed World Heroes characters. I actually like his design more than Brian Battler in KOF 98. I like how he is a mysterious football player with glowing red eyes under the helmet. His moves feel a lot more football-y than Brian Battler's moves.
Why they took out Armored Shot, Ill NEVER understand...
I think it had something to do with him being too powerful with it. Not only was he very strong with excellent reach and a mastery of throws but he could throw footballs, too.
@@raineyhayes3821 Yeah youre most likely right, but I wish they couldve "balanced" him around keeping it. I used to look at him as World Heroe's Sagat being that he had a high & low version. & hearing him shout "Armored Shot!" & "Unda Armored Shot!" was dope & greatly missed by me 😥

Como se puede ver en ese mensaje, Johnny Maximum quiere mucho a su hijo, por cierto el nombre de su hijo es Kok.
Al comienzo él no tenia una buena relacion con su esposa, afortunadamente las cosas mejoraron con el tiempo.
Erick el Vikingo ayudó a Johnny a darse cuenta de que la familia es lo más importante.
Tambien se revela el porque Johnny perdió sus proyectiles que tenia en World Heroes 2

La razon por la que ADK le quitó los proyectiles es que pensaron que un personaje que es grande y rapido darle proyectiles era demasiado. En parte tenian razon, Johnny Maximum era top tier en WH2
Finalmente se revela que Johnny se enfrentó a Bobby Nelson, el niño basquetbolista de Aggressors of Dark Kombat, y perdió.
Johnny al ver el Super de Bobby, el Big Bang Attack, decidió inventar su propia version y asi fue como inventó el Hyper Johnny Special, su Super de World Heroes Perfect.

This awful game needs more love.
I honestly think it's pretty good considering the time when it was released.
It's definitely better than its successor, World Heroes Perfect, imo.

This is NOT an awful game.
I am a big fan of the World Heroes franchise but I have to admit, World Heroes 2 JET is the worst of the series
The main issue I have with this game is that it feels incomplete
No Death Match Mode, no endings for each character, the same music plays for every match in the 1vs1 versus mode.
I prefer playing World Heroes 1 over WH2 JET
Thankfully most of the issues were fixed in World Heroes Perfect, the last game of the series
In my opinion, WH2 is the best one
