I first heard Len play and sing in a video on Facebook a while ago. He was sitting on the couch with his fiddle and I think his wife was sneakily recording him without him knowing. He played and sang the old Bobby Helms song, Fraulein. I’m a huge fan of classic country music, and when he started singing, I knew this guy was as good as it gets. I shared the video and people loved it a lot, so I wanted to make sure to have Len on this year’s advent calendar both playing and singing. I know you’ll enjoy this!
Len plays in a band called the Black Eyed Creez and has been playing music for about 40 years, since he was 6. He just started playing fiddle about 8 years ago but he can play all around the stage. “I can tickle the piano....play a lot of bass guitar....I've even been known to pick the electric twanger from time time and I love singing....I've also written and recorded few songs.....one song called “Just Another Indian Biting The Dust” made it to number 13 on the National Indigenous Countdown.”

Brings back to listening to my grandfather and his brothers playing there fiddles. Nice to see someone from the family continue the tradition

Ah! A gem. Great singing and playing. Did Len Delorme do the other instruments too? The arrangement as you said, has a classic country sound. He really should be better known.
