- Stephan A. Hoeller (b. November 27, 1931) is an American author, scholar and proponent of esoteric tradition and religion. He was born in Budapest, Hungary, of Austro-Hungarian nobility. Exiled from Hungary following World War II and subsequent Communist rule, he studied in academic institutions in Austria, Belgium, and Italy. In 1952 he emigrated to the United States, and has since resided in Southern California.
An author and scholar of Gnosticism and Jungian psychology, Hoeller is the Regionary Bishop of Ecclesia Gnostica, and the senior holder of the English Gnostic transmission in America.
He has lectured in Australia, New Zealand, England, Europe, and the US. He is a national speaker for the Theosophical Society of America. Since 1963 he has been Director of the Gnostic Society in Los Angeles, where he continues to lecture on most Friday evenings.
Dr. Stephan A. Hoeller was Manly P. Hall's principal lecturing associate at PRS for over 20 years. He is a noted scholar and lecturer on Gnosticism and the message of C.G. Jung.

what a giant of a man is Mr. Stephan A. Hoeller. I hope someone is thinking of writing his memorir. I would certainly love to read his historical journey written by Mr. Hoeller personally. I love to hear Mr. Hoeller's lectures. My learning is increased by his insights.

+Stephanus is a a living legend. This man is one of the last few greats of an age of wise initiates, and my heart is filled with love and respect for him. He has contributed greatly to the uplifting of human beings.
Thanks 🙏 again! I grew up and decided I didn’t like television. I began listening to Halls lectures and invested in his books. It’s been three decades of learning from like y’all state, his inner dweller. He’s like a father figure who has taught and continues to teach me the way of life and spirit.
I also programmed my mind with CG Jung and Edgar Cayce.
I totally agree, humanity lacks depth and in need of correction with the esoteric material in which MPH made available to mankind. So many videos are false, yet have thousands of followers regurgitating the same.
Been studying Mr MPH books for past 2 yrs and feel greatly elated hearing a living legend.. Thanks for this interview. Sincerely hope the works of great MPH and PRS community reaches every library in the world .

I have heard Jordan Maxwell once clamming that all folders and works done by Manly P. have been given to him after his death. Is this true?
No. Mr. Hall's works reside at PRS, though the alchemical texts were sold to the Getty after his death, where they still reside and can be viewed online.
