Nelly is experiencing back problems as is older sister Jessica. What a talent she is and so fun to watch but her technique is known to cause injury. Good luck and prayers to you Nelly and Jessica.
@@unioncolor I respectfully disagree. Power from your feet with a passive upper body is the key to longevity. Any time the upper body (arms, shoulders, chest, back) is in the power, a tug of war happens between the upper body and the lower body (hamstrings, glutes, obliques). Energy leaks at the lower back.
@jimedgin1922 I always thought that the way you described is way unleash power and longevity for very long time... the new way of hitting the ball is quite interesting and easier on everybody especially after 50 60... . Using a shoulder blade turn and lesser natural hip turn might be better.. not like Jason day who has so much injuries and less power over the years.. hip turn is for younger body's move and flexible individual.. Just different swing theory...😄
@@unioncolor I used upper body for 30 years and was very close to having to quit the game. Elbows & back hurt all the time. I converted to lower body with passive upper body, trained until it was ingrained, and almost 20 years later, pain free and enjoying the game more than ever with very little loss of distance or performance! Too much usage of hip turn... Shoulder swing is the answer for the longevity.
