The county's recorder of deeds has 1 job if they can't or wont or are being paid not to do their job then they need to be fired. No matter who the person is that is buying or selling any property needs to show ID and 2 other forms of ID or nothing is done with the recorder of any deeds . Notary also should be required. And why isnt the recorder of deeds not bonded. These Recorder of deeds are getting money with the scam on the back end sounds to me.
@annkazunas7207 so what do I do if I had a Chapter 7 bankruptcy with a lawyer 7 yrs ago and it's not in registry of deeds or Homestead? Also I noticed in this paperwork that I just got from my lawyer 7 years later I asked for it and because I came off of forbearance and they're saying I owe all this money so that's why I asked for the bankruptcy statement and I was looking through it and it did say that Wells Fargo put a claim in for the balance of my loan! My lawyer said I still have to pay the mortgage well that was 7 years ago told me oh just pay the mortgage and you'll be fine.
What do you mean someone can refuse to show photo ID when making this kind of transaction? To get a drivers license, you get your photo taken so why not do the same when making a deed/title transfer ?
Harris County Appraisal District does not update in 72 hrs. I've seen neighbors home that sold. closed and the new owner has moved in and months later the owner information has not changed.
Is there anything I can do when I filed bankruptcy in 2017 was the chapter 7 Homestead and they put a claim in and got paid the whole balance of my mortgage.I I've been paying the mortgage ever since we're almost 8 years now and I don't have to they were already paid and but the lawyer said you got to keep paying cuz if you fall behind to foreclosure well I just got to put a closer movie
