BTW i just found a tech recycling store near me and its absolute paradise, they have everything you can think of there, The gpus there are $5 for smaller cards like this and $10 for ones with shrouds, they had a 5770 and another card probably a gtx 260 but I have enough of those types of cards. I got a Quadro k420 and a Gt 710 1gb ddr3, lots didnt have identification too
Do you mostly get your older low end gpus from second hand sites or a store where they sell them really cheap? ebay these cards are overpriced when you can get them for pennies at a recycling center
Unfortunately, I don't have a recycling centre nearby. Though I wish it were much easier, I found them over time on eBay. Every day, I scrolled through listings, and occasionally, I got lucky.
I found a Quadro 2000 at one such place last year. After a bit of bargaining, they gave it to me for just $7. Great build quality, solid voltage regulator, and a fantastic chip with 92% ASIC quality (the highest binned silicon I've ever seen). I was shocked to see just how well that GPU was put together. No match for an HD5770 or even a GTS450 in terms of raw performance (it's essentially a heavily underclocked GTS450) but it's single slot and requires no external power and goes nicely with my old Dell Optiplex 755 mini tower with a Core 2 Duo E8400.
I have tried everything to get both GPUs working at the same time like the video where you test the GTX 590 but it's still the same. If you can, please take some time to make a tutorial video for me 🥺🙏
