@@bruceyyyyymaybe the steerings cooler cores clogged up (like radiator leak stuff) and blew the rest of the cores/hoses spitting fluid onto spark plugs etc.LMAO. Barsleak etc for Highway emergency use only and miles of high pressure hot fluid driving. Temp Fix at best. Used to have actual pellets in barsleak.
I tried it, added a little bit and as it leaked out ended up using the whole bottle. It slowed the leak down over using regular atf but it did not stop or fix the leak.
Didn’t work for me… found out it was a giant hole in a line 😂 was dumping everything in 15-30 min 💀 after I finally got it fixed, a seal was leaking in rack and pinion… probably from running it dry so long, the Lucas Oil stop leak fixed that immediately was very impressive
Idk I've been using it cuz I got stuck in the snow since then it's I think leaking not sure and it's hard to steer since I got stuck and towed out hasn't really help all that much idk

If you're looking for someone to take it off your hands I might be interested, I'm a big fan of those old outbacks and I have a real pension for driving cars that shouldn't be driven lol

Takes about an hour or 2, I had a terrible leak on my 2000 ford expedition and had no leaks the next day

You know you gotta drive it for at lest 50 miles and if its a huge leak only a replacement will help
